You have GOT to be kidding me. PETA needs to RELAX and stop doing more harm than good. The organization is making itself look worse and worse. I'm so embarassed by people these days. Do you think people who are in dire conditions who need to eat meat TO LIVE want to hear about how cruel they're being? I can't take it. People are NEVER going to agree on this issue. NEVER. so why waste the time pushing and pushing it? If you want to be a vegetarian or a vegan or a non-fur wearer, thats fine with me. Just don't talk to me about it.

The LA courts! What incredible they do in keeping we citizens safe from criminals! Not even celebrity law breakers are safe from the swift justice of the LA courtrooms!

Okay, so they didn't nail O.J. Simpson for those murders. And Michael Jackson moonwalked on his child molestation charges. And Robert Blake beat the rap. And it looks like Phil Specter will also.

But take heart, citizens! They got Paris Hilton!

Good freaking grief! What sort of bizzaro world do we live in, anyways? Some judge decides to flex his muscles and show the world how LA shows no favoritism to the rich and famous, and uses Paris Hilton to set the example?

The PETA organization is 100% right about the way KFC treats those poor chickens, and it's an absolutely sickening and cruel treatment to do to any living creature.

I'm sure that Paris will embrace this opportunity to make a difference, and will go on to become an outstanding spokesperson for the animal rights cause!

tap-happie, i'd like to add that i genuinely hope that, since you are aware of the world's many problems, you are doing something positive to help fix them (other than of course reminding everyone that the world is messed up...)

this isn't really about peta. i'm not precisely defending them. i am just defending that since animals feel pain as do humans, neither humans nor animals should have pain imposed on them unnecessarily. and, i agree with you that there are many other issues in the world that deserve a great amount of attention and concern. my life in fact is dedicated to some pretty important causes. i fly back and forth from africa and parts of asia with a certain organization, feeding the hungry and treating the diseased. that is my life's work. however, the fact that the world has uncountable problems that need attention does not give anyone the right to ignore the unnecessary pain, suffering, and death of animals. just because it may not be as important as certain other issues does not mean that it is an ethical issue that matters.
