Did Prince publicly humiliate wannabe pop princess Paris Hilton on purpose?
A source tells Us Weekly that Hilton, 26, was in the audience at the Purple One’s April 20 Club 3121 gig at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in las Vegas when he invited the "Stars Are Blind" singer to join him.
As a “delighted” Hilton obliged, Prince, 48, handed her the mic and told the audience, “Let’s see if she can really sing,” says the witness.
Hilton stormed offstage – and left the club two songs later.
Prince’s rep had no comment. Hilton’s rep says, “The item is false.”

If I could play several instruments, write my own music and had a fantastic voice, I would be tired of the untalented crop of processed milk toast being passed of as musicians too. Come on now - if it was Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Garth Brooks or even Anthony Keidis (Red Hot Chili Peppers), don't you think they would have sang? OF COURSE, because they CAN SING! If my singing ability was in question, I would jump at the opportunity to rectify it.
As far as the negative comments about Prince - you are entitled to your opinion, but you can't deny that the man is a musical genius. Even my husband - who used to doubt Prince - gives the man his props. ESPECIALLY after this show on 4/20. The husband now sees the purple light. LOL! Prince sings and plays all instruments - just his albums and hit songs speak for themselves. That man rocks a guitar with mastery. If you have never been to a Prince concert, you will never understand and if you are too closed minded to at least go to a show, you shouldn't open your mouth to say things you obviously know nothing about. Gay, Straight, Black, White, Purple, Blue, whatever - He is a genius and for me, watching him at work is something I feel privileged to have seen.

Sorry fans of Paris but she is and will always be a big fat zero. The girl got to where she is today by being the spawn of a hotel chain owner (a crap one at best) and it seems as though she follows in her families footsteps. ie she will suck anything for a buck.
It amazes me how stupid and shallow this girl is. I could only wish she was taking the same medication that Anna Nicole was. But unfortunately we would have to suffer the pain of mini-series of a girl that was so innocent and shy. Personally I think that Prince shouldn't have invited her. He is one of the greatest singers of all time, he shouldn't stoop as low as to ask Paris Hilton to come sing with him. Maybe he wanted publicity. Who knows?
