I don't think that she should get a reduced sentence, how can you have good behavior when you haven't even been in jail yet? Its not fair to the rest of the "normal" population. I do however agree with them placing her in a different containment area, rich b***h or not, she's still a person and would probley not last little over an hour in a regular jail cell, the inmates would literally tear her to pieces, and no one deserves that.

We have a legal system in this country in which we vote for our officials. Obviously in California it is corrupt. Celebs don't EVER pay the legal recourse of thier actions. I really think this is an embarassment to the whole state of California. They all say the want to live like a normal person and not have paparozzi follow them, well dont give them a reason to. Do you see girls like Natalie Portman or Keria Knightly being followed as much as Paris, Britney, or Linsday are. No because they don't go out and make an a** out of themselves. If you want to so bad live like a normal person then that should be in all aspects, even if you break the law.

This story has not surprised me at all. ALL celbrities get away with crimes that people like you and me can get thrown in jail for. Yes, Paris has been sent to jail but to have her jailed sentence halved is ludacris. 2 years ago, David Beckham got away with speeding. If that were me, I would have been fined, driving licence taken off me and given the 3rd degree! Of course Beckham, being who he is, got away with it. Just like this Paris Hilton senareo. She only got half the jail term because she is Paris Hilton. Members of the public would not have had that chance. It's digusting that celebrities get special treatment, it's just plain wrong.

In answer to anonymous I think That even if she kills somebody she and her family will find a way to get her out,
she must be paying alot of people to get press because there is nothing to like about Paris, her attitude stinks, she is not even the funny one in that stupid show the simple life and her fashion sense is horrible you can't pay to look that bad!

And as Prince Harry's situation has proven rich and famous people are, in fact targeted frequently by criminals and people wishing them harm. That's why the brats constantly have bodyguards. And wasn't it your rag that reported that Paris was ALREADY getting threats from inmates? Seperating her makes sense to me.
