Paris has to understand that the world is not just made up of rich spolied children, alot of us has to learn the hard way.As for Paris she was born in riches, but for the rest of us we had to work hard and abide by rules and laws of the state. she must now understand that she does not make rules and laws outside her home and neither her mother and that she is no exceptions to these rules. this is awake up call for these young and famous adults, buckle up because its going to be a long ride.

I received 2 dui's in 2000. I did not get any jail time until I violated my probation by driving on a suspended license. I was sentenced to 60 days in jail. I don't think they are making an example of her....I think that judge didn't let her celebrity status affect his judgement. Way to go to the judge!!!!

I personally think that she should not have gone to jail in the first place! It is obvious that this ridiculous judge is USING her to set an example! And all the people that are thinking this is funny? Are you not jelous? Come on, isn't there such a thing as class envy? And , yes if you were in her shoes and drank and wreck your vehicle and ordered to jail, would you not think it is fair? There are rapist, and drug dealers that have commited far more serious offenses and are continuosly put on probation.I am not condoning drinking. And,I am still waiting for your apology to the duke boys for all your comments against them, when in the end look at how your, and the female lying "victim's" false and untrue comments have damaged their lives.

I only stay at Hyatt when I travel for business. 37 days in 2 months so it night not be much but I won't give them another cent.

If Paris is going through detox, what better place for her to be, then to have medical treatment available to her. This is much better than being on house arrest where she would continue abusing substances and prolong the problem. The dumbest excuse to let her out is due to her having a "life threatening condition" and leaving her to be home where no one is monitoring her so-call "life threatening condition. However considering her mental state at the awards show just before going to jail, and her mental state upon her release from jail to her home incarceration (quick recover then!) It appears that her true condition is simply "I dontwanna" and she is having a temper tantrum. Let this be a warning to parents everywhere, if you don't raise your kids when they are young, you will have an adult infant who is unable to cope with reality.

The irony of this mess is that Paris will probably emerge as an even bigger b.i.t.c.h than she was before this ordeal. I seriously doubt this will be of any benefit. Meanwhile taxpayers in California are paying for this mess.

Yes, they go by her house. I was there last year and they bus drove by her house and her Land Rover was out front of her 3 cars in her driveway.

That day it was on the news that she had hit a honda in a parking garage and left without leaving her info. So then we drove by her house to see if we could see the Land Rover. Well, when we went by she had moved all her cars around and had the Land Rover with the damaged bumper hidden in the front and the other cars blocking the view of it.

She has always tried to dodge the law.

Her address isn't private information. You can buy maps to celebrities homes on the streets of LA. That's why you'll see Paris signing autographs when she arrives home. Those are fans who more than likely bought a map, drove to her house and waited for her to come home so they could get an autograph from her. Unfortunately, selling maps to stars homes is totally legal.
