More details from Paris Hilton's phone call with Ryan Seacrest have been revealed. In the second segment E! News plans to air about the call tonight, Hilton tells Seacrest that she hopes to build a "transitional home" to help women when they are released from jail. "These women just keep coming back because they have no place to go," she explains.
Hilton says the home can be "a place to get food and clothes on their backs," continuing that the recidivism rate is "a really bad cycle and if we stop it now, we can make our community a better place."
There might be transitions in Hilton's future as well, as she tells Seacrest she's ready start fresh. "I appreciate everything now and I think there was a lot of bad people that I was around and I don't want to surround myself with those types of people anymore."
We can't wait to find out who's on Hilton's naughty list, but word is, it won't be through either NBC or Barbara Walters. TMZ reports that NBC's planned Today Show interview with the heiress has been cancelled amid rumors that they were going to pay Hilton $1 million for the privilege. Meanwhile, Entertainment Tonight reports that Hilton called Barbara Walters last night from jail requesting that she perform Hilton's first post-release interview. Walters, who is a friend of Kathy Hilton's and who spoke to Paris earlier in her jail stint, declined the request.
Here at Usmagazine.com, we hope that Hilton can look at the bright side: with all her interviews falling through, she can get right to work on her charitable efforts.
