The gnocchi-eaters at PETA have named Simple Life star Nicole Richie, 25, Worst Dressed Celeb, MSNBCs The Scoop reports. Of course, they dont mean worst dressed in the wears plaids and polka dots together sense of the phrase, but in the wears things that used to have a pulse kind of way.
"This pelt-wearing party girl is all animal skin and bones," snipes the animal rights group. "She's an incredible shrinking woman with the heart to match."
Ashley Olsen, 20, is the runner-up. "Wearing fur does add 20 pounds," PETA says, "but if Ashley wants to fill out her frame, we suggest using a fork instead."
Desperate Housewives Eva Longoria, 31, also made the list. PETA opines: "You'd think she'd be more sympathetic to the plight of rabbits considering the way she screws around like one on Wisteria Lane."
Richie's sometime BFF Paris Hilton, 25, topped last year's list, but was let off the hook this year because she stopped wearing furs after viewing a gruesome PETA video about the fur industry. But a spokesman for the group says they're taking a "wait and see" attitude before asking the heiress to join their "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" campaign, although, frankly, Paris would probably rather go naked than do anything.

PETA is pathetic...they are not consistent on anything,they have no idea what animals are truly like..they have never lived on a farm and seen a mother pig roll on and kill all her babies..then eat the still warm corpses...animals are animals. Its all a part of co-exsisting in this world, they should worry about starving,abused and tortured people,not if people wear fur or not!! I say rock the furs ladies!!!!

Why are you all so heartless and cold. Animals get killed for the enjoyment and pleasure of humans and its disgusting! I dont think any of you would like to be tourtured,shot,cut and put around someones neck!!! Havent you heard of faux fur....it looks the exact same and costs half the price.I really hope all of this happens to you one day and youll be seen around an animals neck. Animals all have feelings and dont deserve to be born and look foward to being shot and killed. This world is messed up!!!

Ugh...so sick of PETA. I eat meat, I wear leather, I'm just using the whole animal! I don't agree with killing animals for sport like the seal hunts and such, but I could care less if someone wears fur or leather or suede.

I'm so glad to see that PETA doesn't get as much love here as it does on other gossip sites, because I hate PETA. I think it's full of crazies who have their priorities screwed up and will abuse people for the sake of animals. Look at how they took these nasty digs at the weight of these girls, some of whom obviously have eating disorders.

I read yesterday that PETA chastised a church in Anchorage, Alaska, for having a "living" Nativity scene. Well, it was humans dressed for the rolls, including the animals. But PETA had to get involved anyway and call attention to this horrendous crime. And it wasn't even animals being used! I think PETA should lighten up a little. I have no respect for them with the terror tactics that they use.

Fur is dead... I'll never wear it. It belongs on animals not humans. If people started to wear human skin, people would get upset, but it's the same thing when you wear animals. the pelt is THEIR skin!

Instead of writing what PETA says, I would like to see were PETA millions go to. I saw an article years ago about the high life these CEO of PETA live off your donations. If you believe in a cause I think every penny should go to that cause and not the CEO bank accounts. I don't like PETA I think you should get your point across without terrorizing people. there are a lot of bumper stickers up here (alaska) that peta hates: i love moose.....they taste great! and so on with cows and whatever else you eat. for all you people down there, moose tastes just like cow. there's a few that say i love wolves, they're warm and fluffy. anyhow, i wear fur, everyone up here does. it's warm. if people down in the states would quit trying to make laws and regulations on stuff they don't even know about, the world would be such a better place. alaska is not some national park, so quit trying to make it one! peta needs to die. and you notice they only go after what suits THEIR publicity needs.
