Ashlee Simpson has been flashing bling on her ring finger for a while now.
On Wednesday, she confirmed it's a promise ring from her Fall Out Boy beau Pete Wentz.
"It just means that he hasn't asked my dad yet..." she explained on Fuse TV's The Sauce while promoting her upcoming album Bittersweet World.
Simpson also set the record straight on another issue: "No, I'm not pregnant," she declared.
Though Ashlee and Pete may not be walking down the aisle, her older sis Jessica — who heads to Kuwait to perform for the troops next month — may be.
A close pal of her beau Tony Romo recently told Us Weekly, "I think they're going to get married."
Tell Us: What couple do you like better: Tony and Jess or Ashlee and Pete?

aww i hope they do. she is gorgeous and pete is flatt out amazing. he's my hero, and i hate when all the pete wentz fans hate on ashlee, like they think they have a chance with him ? honestly im pretty much obsessed with pete wentz and fob and im so happy for him like its just dumb to hate herr, she's talented too and they're the bext couple everrrr<3.

I deffinatly like Ashlee & Pete better. Jessica annoys the sh*t out of me. She's so fake & such a wannabe and i think Ashlee is very real and knows who she is and isnt vunerable to whats going on around her, unlike jessica. & i love her hair like that too..very cute =)

The Simpson sisters represent everything that's wrong with Hollywood. Two no talented dimwits are thrust on to the scene by their perverted ex-pastor father. He then pays off people to publish anything about the two. Their thrown into everthing from singing to plastic surgery. After everyone figures out that they are not talented daddy goes into crisis mode and again pays people to help "put a good spin on them." These two need to disappear and make room for people that actually HAVE talent. Jessica will ruin Romo and the only things she'll be remembered as are Yoko Romo, divorcee, singing disaster, & box office failure. Great career Jess.
