Katie Holmes Debuts New Shorter Hair Do

Katie Holmes debuted a pageboy cut at Pizzeria Mozza in L.A. Monday night.
The actress, who was voted one of Us' top makeovers of 2007 after she chopped her locks last year, picked up a few pies and headed back home. Tom Cruise and daughter Suri were not with her.
Could the new cropped cut be for a role? Holmes’ rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com that “she is in discussions” to join the Broadway revival of All My Sons.
Celebrity hair stylist Sally Hersberger says the bob style works for Holmes.
"She has the face for it," Hersberger, who has a new hair care product line, tells Us. "She is round in the face and it looks the best on that type. It's not for a skinny face."

Seriously, why be negative about her cutting her hair? Maybe it's for a new role she's going to be taking on. Perhaps she wanted something different (yeah, because women never get a haircut and then change their minds). For whatever reason, it's her business. Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise don't even know that any of us exist, so why do most of you feel the need to disect their lives upon information you don't even know is true or not, much less if its spun into utter garbage? How judgemental to act as if you know Tom Cruise or her personally to say why she did it. I'm sure if people were constantly digging into your personal life they'd make it look a mess also.
Katie Holmes is gorgeous. She's absolutely stunning and appears to the public to be happy. Goodness, leave her alone already.

Katie Holmes is young and maleable, with an older narcissistic husband who has been getting a lot of rejection(Tom, not Katie)in Hollywood of late. She is a natural beauty. Tall, with a lovely long body, great eyes,great legs, lovely skin& hair and a warm captivating smile. But it looks like her hair has become a barometer of her (or Tom's) mental state. Change is good...IN MODERATION. But why does this lovely young lady keep changing her look by going shorter and more masculine on a weekly basis? It IS strange. Like she's bored or unhappy or restless. It seems sad. This sounds dramatic, but all this loss of gorgeous hair seem symbolic of the reigning in of her whole warm and vivacious personality?

Katie is beautiful, and it would not matter if she shaved her head bald. I am sure she is just as beautiful on the inside too. Anyone who says anything nasty about her, or Tom probably has low self-esteem, or is basing their opinions on their own jealousy.

She has the face to pull it off. I personally could never wear this cut and neither could alot of people, but she is lucky that she can.

I think the new cut is on fire. The majority of American women are far to boring in the hair department and therefore not ready for this much fun. Work it out Katie. They hate a real B, and Katie knows what I mean.

Katie has such a pretty face that I think she could pull off just about any cut. The picture is at a bad angle though. As for some of the other comments I read would you bo her she is happily married and living her life quit hattin!!!

I can not really see the cut but if it is on Katie Holmes then i bet that it is cute. Just think everybody said the same thing when she cut it into a bob and later on everyone liked it. The only reason that i think that it looks good on her because she has a round head and face. And if you notice Katie is a natural beauty and natural beauties can basically pull off any style. Even the uglyest style they can make it a fashion tren. Think about it when was the last time you saw a bob? Then Rihanna and Katie cut their hair into a bob and now everbody was getting their hair cut the same way. So yeah i think that once everybody see her head or hair full out then they are going to comment on the same thing the first time she cut her hair.

If there was a better picture, a better angle of the cut, maybe I could decide...but atleast it's something different than that Cleopatra thing she had going. Remember that debut, with the cat eyes? Not her best look. I liked her long flowing tresses, but obviously Tom had other ideas. I wouldn't be surprised if she was calling herself Katherine Holmes, or maybe Katherine Cruise. She will always be Katie to her fans.
