THERE ARE HORMONE PILLS THAT SOMEONE CAN TAKE TO MAKE THEMSELVES LOOK LIKE A MAN OR A WOMAN.IN MY OPINION YES HAVING CHILDREN IS A BLESSING BUT AT THE SAME ITS NOT RIGHT TO CLAIM YOURSELF AS A MALE. REVEAL THE TRUTH BECAUSE ITS THE ONLY RIGHT THING TO DO. MEN CANNOT HAVE CHILDREN!! SOMETIMES PEOPLE LIE SO MUCH THEY START TO LIVE IN THEIR OWN LIES AND BELIEVE THEM. i have no judgement but this is crazy and i do believe she is a man. im sorry but she is really a man. And I agree with some people that its wrong and it is all about the money because they are putting this out for the world to see and when the baby grows older and learns about this media story she may be embarrassed, scared, or be teased on. This is not inhumane but it is really inappropriate and the parents i dont know wut they were thinking. but they do have a the right to live and raise the baby how ever they would please so long as it humane and as long as the baby is healthy and in good condition. But we should really leave this couple alone for the sake of the baby. but they were really stupid and crazy to have put themselves on blast because they are making themselves look bad. although it is wrong just let them be the "stars" they wanna be. they should get no money whatsoever and they should feel shameful for trying to be famous in a stupid way that will make people feel uncomfortable. WHEN THIS FIRST AIRED ON OPRAH, I ADMIT I WAS CURIOUS, BUT AS MUCH AS THOMAS BEATIE CLAIMS TO BE A "MAN", GENETICLY THIS INDIVIDUAL IS A FEMALE, SO TO CLAIM TO BE A PREGNANT MAN IS INCORRECT, THIS INDIVIDUAL CHOOSE TO KEEP THE FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS, IF THIS INDIVIDUAL TRULY WANTED TO BE A "MAN" THIS INDIVIDUAL WOULD HAVE COMPLETED THE GENDER REASSIGNMENT SURGERY, SO I CAN NOT REFER TO THIS PERSON AS EITHER "MAN" OR "WOMAN", I FEEL THIS PERSON DOES NOT FIT EITHER GENDER. I FEEL VERY SORRY FOR THE CHILD BORN TO THIS INDIVIDUAL, HOW CAN THE CHILD LIVE A "NORMAL" LIFE.

I can't believe any one is giving this a second thought. This is a very gross thing. Men can't have babies. God designed it that way. That is all there is to it. And, for those that don't believe in God, you will soon enough (well maybe not soon enough, but one day you will). As for those of you that are complaining that people are judging on here, bull. We ( I do consider myself in this group) are NOT judging. Just stating fact. Read your Bible - A man and a woman marry and reproduce. Not, a woman and a woman, not a man and a man. It is WRONG. The whole gender thing here. A woman is a woman, and a man is a man. That is not us "judging" that is the way it is. I hope the baby lived a happy life. I truly do.

Here is a question for you - if the "parents" split, who will have custody? Which Mom? Will the other Mom - not the biological one, have any rights? How does all that work? Is the "ManMom" gonig to finish the gender change? Then he/she will have the physical characteristics of a man, but I honestly don't believe will be a real man. Kinda like Pinocchio wanting to be a "Real boy."

Whatever... people do what they want.The book is a great idea to help people understand. I am pretty sure I'll read it.

I have a cousin who is transgender and I do not judge her its her life. I may not want this for my life but thats what these people choose.And for those of you who make the comments that this makes you sick or thats disgusting better take a good look at your selves your far from being perfect as we all are. And in case you didn't read legally he is a man whether he still has his female organs or not and also his wife had a hyterectomy and can't carry the baby herself or it would be the other way around. You people need to think long and hard before making and comments and taking action to make these people feel bad about what their doing because I'm a believer that what comes around goes around and this might just come back to bite you. I think its great what their doing giving life to a very lucky baby girl.

This entire thing is about just one thing, money. It's not about love, it's not about "rights" it's not about miricles, and it's not about gender. It's about media confusion, it's about breaking down trust and belief in your fellow man (and woman), it's about lies, it's about money!
