I think Angie has a movie coming up and her name's not in the media enought to suit her, so she came up with this stupid scheme herself. It wouldn't be the first time.

Questions Still Surround Angelina Jolie's "Assistant"
Friday June 6, 2008
![]() Dominique Charriau/WireImage.com Angelina Jolie's lawyers say an imposter posing as her assistant spread the false news that the actress had given birth May 30. A week later, the situation remains complicated. According to the Associated Press, an Entertainment Tonight producer got their "scoop" after exchanging emails with a woman claiming to be Holly Goline, Jolie's real-life assistant. See 15 photos of Angie's bump. "Yes she did," the woman wrote when asked if Jolie had given birth. "I was actually in the room with her. They are doing fine and so is mom." (The ET producer reportedly claims to have used e-mail info given to her by a CNN contact who had previously worked with Goline, according to the AP.) But a person involved in the matter told the Associated Press that Goline has never had a BlackBerry e-mail account — even though Goline [see photo, left] was photographed holding a Blackberry at Cannes in May. Nevertheless, Jolie's lawyers released a statement claiming the emails were from a bogus BlackBerry account — and that a woman posing as Goline has been sending out incorrect press releases to dupe the media for the last year. But a Los Angeles Times blogger still is not convinced. "A year? One of the most famous women in the world — with possibly the tightest security force on Earth — has an assistant imposter and no media outlets were warned about this before now?" the Times blogger wrote. "How is that possible? And why have none of the imposter's fraudulent planted stories been debunked by her legal team?" Jolie or Goline have not made a public appearance since the news broke.
