Idol's Randy Jackson: Paula Abdul Is "Doing Great" After Split

Randy Jackson says Paula Abdul is holding up nicely after her split from restaurateur J.T. Torregiani.

"I talked to her just last week — and she's doing great!" Jackson told Usmagazine.com at his 52nd birthday bash at Tao in the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Saturday.

Abdul and Torregiani began dating in April 2007 when he introduced himself to her after an Idol taping.

"He's a sweetie pie," she has said of Torregiani. "He's a positive force that has come into my life right now. Where it leads, who knows?"

He has since moved out of her Los Angeles home.

A source close to the singer tells Us, "She has moved on with her life.”

I love Paula sooo much. She's my idol. I'm really sad that she broke up with JT. Paula doesn't deserve this kind of relationship. I will never believe that work scheudle is the main reason that they broke up. just look at the pics that Paula and JT took together, seriously JT only has one facial expression, and it's weird. compare those pics to the pics he took with his friends at his bday, JT seems more happy when he's with his friends. god! I really think JT used Paula to get publicity... and the next man Paula's with, I'm pretty sure it's Simon Cowell. Simon is the one for Paula. after 7 years of Idol just look at how close they are. god I don't think friends will be that close. their relastionship has changed during the past 7 years!! and look at the way Simon looks at Paula, you can see the love inside his eyes!! Simon loves her! or maybe I should say SIMON'S IN LOVE WITH HER! even Nigel and Ryan gave us hint.. Nigel said they are in love. remember Ryan said "I think Simon still wants to hook up with her" after that second song incident.. and Terri's out of the picture. they broke up (according to an article from the UK) c'mon SIMON GO GET HER!!!
