After hearing the interview Jerry gave on the Howard Stern Show, I didn't even think their marriage was going to last. I guess she gave him a good punch to the throat. He says that it completely knocked the wind out of him and surprised him that she would do such a thing. He sounded really shaken by it. Now they are having two babies? What a joke!

Hey this is great! Two normal, non-attention seeking, actors are having twins after being in a committted relationship for a while followed by getting married. What a novel idea! They don't travel around like a circus while deflecting their bad behavior and staging photo-ops for themselves. They don't lecture the world on things that "need to be addressed." They are not hypocritical. They don't play games with the press. The are respectufl of their peers and don't believe societal norms and customs are for just for other people. Their actions and behavior tends to match their words.

To the recently disenfrancished (from Jared) Brangelina Loons: Stop comparing this decent, nice couple to the joke circus and theatre of the absurd called Brangelina. It is patently obvious to anyone who knows anything about reproducing, fertility, general GYN and multiple births that Pitt and Jolie had IVF or Clomid at the very least. The reason people were talking about the Pitts and not some of the other celebrity couples is that many people are growing more disgusted at the Brangelina assault on our sensibilites. As a general truism, people grow weary of spin, contradictions, grandiosity, and nutty self-indulgence. For the most part, they also don't like men who are chameleons and transform themselves into a clone of their significant other.

Good Luck to Rebecca and Jerry. I am sure you won't be out collecting more kids after the babies are born and I am also pretty confident you will not use them as props and luggage.

To the person who said that many Hollywood parents are married as opposed to shacking up--they may be married NOW, but the majority seem to have gotten married AFTER they got pregnant--Ben and Jen, Matt Damon, Ashlee, Nicole Ritchie (is she married?), Matthew McConoughey, etc. So the parents were married when the kid was born, but not when it was conceived.

I had identical twin boys when I was 30 years old. The chances? 1 out of 250. Identical twins are formed when the egg randomly splits. Fraternal twins are genetic. Why are all of these celebrities having fraternal twins when fraternal twins are genetic or conceived with IVF? Interesting. I definitely think there are many celebrities doing IVF. Statistically, it's not in their favor for all of these celebrity couples to naturally have twins.

I wonder what John Stamos thinks about the news. According to the tabs, when they were still married John wanted children and she didnt.Supposely they split for that reason. Now that they have split she will be the one with the kids and John wont have any. Kind of weird how that turned out!

congrats to Jerry and Rebecca! I don't care how their babies were conceived. I don't care how anybody conceives their babies. I just hope the babies are healthy and that the family is happy. That's not a great pic of him, but Jerry O'Connell is one of the most beautiful men ever to grace the planet! You see him on "Crossing Jordan"? Lovely. I'm not really into Rebecca; she seemed kind of slutty when I first noticed her, but that was back in the 90's... Who wasn't slutty in the 90's?

Congrats to them. By the way, Hollywood celebs aren't the only ones to use nannies. I don't live in a metropolis, but I've known several girls who have worked as nannies for upper middle class families in my area. I'm not saying it's good or bad, but what's so wrong with having a nanny? My mom didn't have a nanny, but she had both my grandmothers nearby to help out when she needed it with the four of us. So, she probably got a lot of similar help that a nanny would provide, but she was lucky enough to have family to watch us when she needed to run errands, etc... And what about all those kids from working class families in daycare? The point is, you do what you have to and I don't see why people should be penalized for having nannies. It's such a general title that we don't really know what their jobs are for each different family. Why does anyone care? As for the twins thing, I have an aunt who had twins naturally at 39. She had 3 kids before that but had the twins later on. It can happen. And if it was fertility treatments who cares?

I've never thought of jerry as ugly.... sure he needs a hair cut and he's starting to age... but i still wouldn't say he was ugly... what i like about this is that it most likely wasn't invitro like most twins these days... i mean, jerry is a twin... so that's cool to see.
