I always say look at the parents of two people in a relationship and you have a pretty good indicator of their chances for a lasting relationship. Both sets of Reese's and Jake's parents have long-lasting marriages. Both Witherspoon and Gyllenhaal have shown great integrity in how they've handled their personal lives and their artistic success while in their teens and twenties.

I am very sorry Reese and Ryan's marriage dissolved, but this is a definite upgrade for her! And I am glad that Jake has finally found someone he seems to really care about. This is a great couple who seem very grounded. Yay for them!!

Ryan? - he took for granted something very special and wore it on him. He should have appreciated her more when he had her than resent her for become as spectacular as she is.
