Reese Bans Cell Phones On Set

 Flynet Reese Witherspoon's tactic for controlling false rumors: Stop them before they start. A source on the L.A. set of Rendition says the actress, 30 (who split from husband Ryan Phillippe, 32, in October) has banned cell phones so no photos of her and costar Jake Gyllenhaal get out. “Reese doesn’t want any rumors about her and Jake,” says the source, who adds that security on the film is tight. Of course she's being practical- with all the crap on the front pages of Britney and Pam and the rest of the new crop of divorcee's, she's finding another way of distancing herself from this new "trend". It's actually a brilliant move- I wonder if it was her or her publicist who ACTUALLY issued the ban.

Reese is a very classy actress. I love watching her on screen. Im glad she left that ignorant asshole. She can do better than him anyway and no she isnt pregnant in real life, duh. Thats part of her character.

Hey rocket scientists...she looks pregnant because she's filming a movie and plays a pregnant character. Helllloooooo!! And I think it's a wise move to ban cell phones. She is a smart woman who wants to protect her clean image and her children from nasty gossip.

I applaud her efforts to maintain some privacy. How many pictures of "onset" couples were leaked into the tabloids citing real life hook-ups? It happens all the time. She's trying to go through her seperation and divorce with dignity and reserve (I agree, Britney could take some lessons) for the sake of her family.
I do hope, however, that Jake was a willing participant, and she's not pulling rank somehow.

Back when I use to read the E online gossip Ted C always did blind vice items on a "toothy tile" who wouldn't come out of the closet but who was dating a man... Paranoid. Definately. Is she worried that someone will actually catch her with their camera phone flirting with Jake on set????? Normally stars don't require such a demanding inconvience as "no cell phone use" from people who work on set. Reese is being ridiculous. She is only making herself look suspicious and paranoid.
