11:38, Both Nick and Jessica were not that interesting before Newlyweds. He was never an A-lister (even now). They both became famous from the show but her career took off way better than his. He was the one asking for money when they split, not her. He may of had a few extra dollars (not much) before marriage but at the end she was the bread winner while he sat on the couch enjoying her millions.
