I think that once all of these readers with vile comments have gone home and called THEIR mothers, sisters or daughters these horrible things; they may have the right to come back and cast stones. If a person would truly walk up to Angelina Jolie and say all these things to her face, then I would say they have no soul and are not human. Only humans make mistakes. Humans forgive. And if you put out there that someone is bottom feeder, a slut, a homewrecker, all that hate you spew comes back to you.

I think Angelina Jolie is a fantastic person. She loves children to no end. Her and Brad are just the perfect couple, I hope they stay together forever.

I don't think it's bad that US printed such a story. The impression I've gotten is that part of Angelina's motivation for adopting children from foreign, impoverished countries was her experiences with the poverty and problems there. By publishing this story about the conditions Zahara's mom went through I think only emphasizes what's going on in the world that Americans really don't focus on as much. A woman got raped coming home from work and had a baby - this isn't something that is uncommon in many countries in the world. Instead of being disgusted someone would write about it maybe people should say how horrible it is and what can they do.

Second, Angelina saying the baby was an AIDS victim. This was a foreign adoption, probably carried out in an underfunded orphanage. I'm guessing that the records of the orphanage may not have been accurate or the orphanage may have been primarily set up to handle AIDS cases. That's not a lie.

You can't say that you don't admire her, she has adopted 3 children from poor and underpriveliged countries to give them a better life with her... why are all of you getting so angry at this story? If Angelina thought that her children would never be hounded by the press, then she is naive, at best. She should have, and probably did, know that her poor kids would live out their lives in scrutiny. Probably many of you are uncomfortable with this story because it casts Angelina in poor light. She may not have known that the mother was alive, but there was no need to throw the aids story in for good measure. Why should people scoff and turn up their nose at the terrible things that have happened to the birth mother??? The way Angelina handles this excruciating situation will help shed light on her motives. If she ignores this poor woman, then her public relations foundation as a humanitarian could be deeply shaken, but it means that she will have to admit to saying something false, which up to this point, she doesn't seem to want to do. She probably figured that no one would ever investigate her claims. If someone adopted my child and then turned around and told the world I had died of aids, then I'd be upset too.

Why has Zahara's suppossed 'birth mother' come forward now...? What does she expect to get out of taking this to the media and destroying what family life this little girl has! It is terrible and just plain mean and disresectful.. I know that this woman is maybe her birth mother, but put it this way Zahara has a better chance for a life with her 'mother' and 'father', Brad and Angelina...
There is also the question of "what will happen if Zahara ever finds this article and reads that she is the supposed product of a Rape?', What will she think? How do you think she will feel? This is a terrible thing to print regardless of her age and regardless of wheather she is with her birth mother or her adoptive parents... She is a happy lively little girl who is surrounded by brothers and a sister and two amazing parents who love her dearly...

How is this "Angelina's team" this is a tabloid story and Reuters went to investigate -- why I haven't a clue except the further bastardization of the news. Angelina was told the baby's birth mother was dead, probably from AIDs, because that is what the grandmother swore to the orphanage and the court in Ethiopia. Grandma brought three other witnesses to do the same. The adoption agency confirmed this again last week. What did you expect Angelina to do? All of Sharon Stone's little blond boys are adopted. Are their birth mothers questioned? You psycho Angelina haters are such bottom feeders it is appalling.
