Rosie O'Donnell Laughs Off Split Report

Rosie O'Donnell is laughing off a report in Cindy Adams' New York Post gossip column that she is leaving longtime partner Kelli Carpenter.

"Rosie thinks that Cindy Adams is a lesbian but she doesn’t know it yet," a rep for the former View co-host tells Usmagazine.com.

"She's going to leave Kelli for Cindy Adams," the rep adds.

Adams reported Monday that the pair — who have been with each other since 1997 — "may not be so together anymore."

O'Donnell, 46, and Carpenter, 41, tied the knot in San Francisco in 2004. Together, they're raising adopted children Parker, 13; Chelsea, 11; and Blake, 8.

They also have biological daughter Vivienne Rose, 5.

O'Donnell recently declared she's waiting to remarry Carpenter until "it's legal everywhere."

You are right - homosexuality is a choice. The hard part is taking responsibility for that choice. There is no scientific proof of a link between hormones, or any other chemical process, and homosexuality. The act of homosexuality is sinful and the Word of God says so. Galatians states the acts of the sinful nature, which is what we are ALL born with. If we CHOOSE to give in to those acts, then we choose to take the road that leads to Hell. And yes, we are commanded to "judge one another." The verse "judge not, lest ye be judged" is to warn us that when we do, we are to live up to that same standard by which we judge others, for that is the standard by which God will measure us. So don't judge based on what you would like to see, but rather what you can live up to. We were given the responsibility to hold one another accountable in the church, and we have been skirting the issue for generations, now. Let's get back to God, and society can make their own choices. As for me and my house, we will follow the Lord.

Kelli had the biological daughter...Rosie Adopted her. No Rosie did not produce sperm but Kelli did provide the egg making that her biological daughter. Put your thinking caps on....

Margie...You are so judgemental to be a Christian. Judge not least ye be judged...ever read that in the Bible?? How does her sexuality affect you?? You are not going to go to hell because she is gay....you may however go for being judgemental, so you may want to consider that the next time you put on your holier than thou cap and thump your bible.

Margie - It's people like you who are mislead and give Christians a bad name. The Bible does not say that all homosexuals are going to hell. It says that if you practice your sins and do not change your ways and are not saved, you will go to hell. People are born homosexuals. It is a defect. Just like someone being born blind. Some ask why would God make you gay then...Well, why did God make people who are blind or deaf or mentally challenged??
I don't agree with homosexuality. It is wrong and disgusting..but I have committed sins and I am not going to hell. No human does not commit sins. You just try to live a sin free lifestyle and do the best you can. If you're saved, God forgives ALL sins!!

Some of you are so uneducated about human beings. Just because the children have 2 moms does not mean that the kids are suffering. My husband and I have friends that are leisbians and they are no different than us. They have 3 children and I know personally that none of the kids are being ridiculed or teased and we live in the "Bible Belt" of the world. So get over yourselves and let people be. You don't know them at all.

I'm not a fan of Rosie's but she should be able to live her life without all of the hate. And I do agree that Kelli could do so much better.

Homosexuals can't go to Heaven according to the Bible. Would you want to chance it? Just because something seems right, and/or feels right, doesn't make it right. God forbids it only because He didn't make us that way, and loves us so much and wants us to be truly fulfilled. If you have a child and you know that something he is about to do will hurt him, do you let him do it because he may think it is ok, or out of love do you try and stop him? Homosexuality is a case of mistaken identity. There are lots of reasons people choose it, but it's a huge mistake. If you want eternal Life, don't choose it!

All of these children are "their" children, they have a family together. The kids are loved, brought up to be tolerant of others, respect others, and that all love is good. Love is what makes a family, and Rosie loves each of her children. They are very lucky to have found their forever mom in Rosie.

I think it's funny how Rosie knows about celebrity. She just uses her sense of humor to turn it around. I know alot of people don't like her, but I grew up watching her on her show. Gotta love the gossip!
