Is The Price Wrong for Rosie O’Donnell?

 Stephen Lovekin/WireImage.com Rosie O'Donnell wants Bob Barker to "come on down" to Miami and reconsider his opposition to her taking his job. In a full page ad placed in Thursday's Variety, Rosie, 45, honors the retiring Barker's long television career and not-so-subtly reminds him and his employers that she loves the show, and, oh yeah, has her own life-sized Plinko Board at home. The controversial TV star has been angling for the game show hosting gig since December 2006, when she told Extra: “See, I want The Price is Right, but no one has offered me The Price is Right...They apparently don’t want me, which is sort of sad because I have visions for The Price is Right." Word is, Barker, 83, is the one blocking her way. With Rosie's time on The View coming to a close and no replacement lined up for The Price is Right, we suggest Rosie start going door-to-door distributing spay and neutering pamphlets, in order to win his favor. Please please please hire Rosie to do TPIR. She would bring new life and wit to the show. She is very funny, kind, family oriented, and she cracks me up. Humor is just what that show needs. I would watch every show if she was on it and so would her many many fans. We are loyal to Ro. Go Rosie, Go Rosie!

She's hard on the eye's, she doesn't know when or how to shut her mouth. Pushy, bully, just the sound of her voice makes me cringe. There is no way I would ever watch TPIR again. She would not shut her mouth I'm sure and make sure she's the center of attention. Just her way of glossing over getting dumped again, just like she "quit" the view - right. When Rosie started on "The View" it was obvious that she was only interested in furthering her personal agenda which is disgusting to mainstream America. My reaction to her oral diarherra was to obtain a list of sponsors and inform them that I would not use their products until they withdrew their support for this show. I also stopped watching it immediatly. I encourage all of you that see this site to do the same and e-mail the sponsors and tell them that you will not use their products if see is employed by the price is right.

~No offence to any other wannabe hosts out there, but several of my friends and I think Greg Props should host. He has experience in that area, plus it would add a bit more "fun" to the show.

Rosie is radioactive and will destroy "The Price is Right." We will no longer watch it if she is the host and we will not patronize its sponsors. If she has her right of free speech to be a bully and anti-American, then we have the right of free speech to boycott her and her sponsors.

With Bob Barker, he hosted the show in a way which was all about the contestants. His presented himself in an unbiased way who seemed genuinely wanted the contestant to win. I think that Rosie O'donnell will ruin the show by making tacky and tasteless jokes. Too much time would be taken up by her need to put her two cents in, that the show would no longer be all about the contestants. She obviously has never been able to bite her tounge in the past so what would stop her from doing it on the show. If she were chosen,CBS would probably face some sort of lawsuit for her politically incorrect statements.I for one,who has watched the show since i was a child, wouldn't tune in to listen to her controversial views on politics and society.

Rosie is too controversial in so many ways. She is immoral, combative and rude and has absolutely no tact or finesse. For her to host The Price is Right is unthinkable. TPIR would certainly lose my viewership along with millions of others. She would be the absolute worst choice that I can think of, to say the least. Need I say more? Perhaps she would be perfect to take over for Jerry Springer. She certainly would fit in there.

Heck no, I do not want Rosie. I wish Rosie would just go away with her girlfriend and leave the rest of us alone. I, for one, am sick and tired of the television networks cramming things down our throats. I have watched "The Price is Right" for years, but I will have no problem quitting if they let Rosie host the show!

Looks like the Rosie hate club is in full force and I for one LOVE IT!!! She would be terrible for the TPIR, not to mention anything else on TV. She has a hair trigger temper, and would argue with anyone that did not see her side of anything. I can just see her lose it and go off on a contestant because they were in uniform, or she did not like the college that was on your shirt. What a shame is is even being considered!!!!!

I think Rosie would make an ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS host for the Price is Right. She is funny and quick-witted enough to dominate the show and crack some funny jokes along the way. I LOVE ROSIE!

On the day time Awards Show, Bob Barker did'nt sound like he was endorsing Rosie O, he was just being polite and positive. I don't think Rosie could use the platform without it being her on personal sounding board, Bob has stayed on task and kept it about the show.

My family will definitely STOP watching The Price is Right, if Rosie is hostess....or would that be host....She does not represent traditional family values and, therefore, would not be a good fit for a very traditional family show.
