Comedian Rosie O’Donnell, who has been quite vocal about her wish to replace Bob Barker as host of The Price is Right, met with producers earlier this week. In the Q&A "Ask-Ro" section of her blog, rosie.com, she answered fans’ questions about the meeting, and reported that it had gone well.

Meanwhile, Drew Carey’s name has been thrown into the ring as a contender for Barker’s former gig. According to Variety, CBS and producer FremantleMedia North America have spoken with the comic about hosting the daytime gameshow. However, O’Donnell made it clear on her blog that she has no hard feelings towards her fellow comic.

Molly asked:
Rosie, how was “The Price is Right” meeting? I see that Drew Carey’s name has been thrown into the mix. Any comments?

Rosie answered:

The 45-year-old former View cohost has been less than optimistic about her chances of landing the position, and has even wondered aloud if she’s the right person for the job.

"I don't know if it's gonna work out," she said recently in a video posted on her website. " It would be good for me, but I don't know if it's right for them."
