It doesn't matter what you do. It's obvious you have attracted a fanatic base who will "rip you to shreds" for anything you do. Whether it be good or bad, these "people" will find fault in it.
It amazes me, the level of, I don't know what to call it, which exists in this President-Bush day world of ours; where people are so concerned about things you do. Amazing, this ownership some of these people feel they have of you, that you owe them something. Quite frightening actually.
I saw your jaugernaut fight on The View. These people, they just DON'T GET IT, at all.
Keep up the good work, we are making progress.

...there is a pretty loud "cognitive dissonance" happening here with Rosie's outspoken, well known hatred of guns and her acceptance/choice of a guerilla fighter costume for her little daughter. I love Rosie, her "street smarts" and the fact that she doesn't take any guff off of anybody; however, I think there is something a little unaligned in her personality that gets exposed in this incident. This also came through loud and clear in her biography -- where she unwittingly gets taken in by a con artist -- Rosie is totally accepting time and time again going against all common sense in getting scammed when almost any of us would have said "adios" to the con. She is the greatest tho, and for the most part fights the good fight.

if somebody else had taken a picture of their child like this you know she'd be all over it, it seems like rosie is getting more bitter everyday about something and is taking it out on as many people as she can, she used to (at least seem) very nice, anybody else remember that? she just dosen't seem like the same person, lots of anger.

Okay first off her daughter is beautiful. And second you guys are all hating because she shows how to show strong but true messages to people who refuse to see life for what it really is.

-she has a beautiful daughter and a wife, that a meassage alone.

-this could have been any model showing a strong message. War is out there and pretty soon if we dont stop this it will be our kids we have to say "here hold this....and if anything happens, shooot!"

-A High school student might be asked to interperet a pic like this in American LIT!

If you think your kid shouldnt be giving this message as a truth of reality, then you probably don't have the relationship with your child that Rosie has with her well informed daughter!

I don't understand why you think I think I am the moral authority on anything. And I guess I have no idea how you want me to answer your question. I thought I already did. Short of saying I think she should burned at the stake, I don't think you will accept my answer. Rosie has a big mouth that she can't seem to tame. Do you understand what holding some one accountable means? It means you force them to take RESPOSIBILITY for their words and actions. Rosie doesn't do that. She hides behind posting political pictures of her daughter, but leaves it "open for interpretation." She calls the government/troops (whatever) terrorists, then gets mad at EH because she won't defend Rosie and fight her battles with her. I don't think you should make excuses for Rosie. She says what she does(n't), if that causes backlash, so be it. She reeps what she sows.

3:39, Nothing should be done about her freedom of speech. Come on, will you please stop pretending like you don't understand the point I'm making? You try to divert attention from the issue by starting another. When Rosie makes statements about our terrorist government, or posts pictures of her daughter with ammunition, or spues inaccurate political facts to try to force you to believe what she thinks, she should be held accountable for that. People shouldn't make excuses for her saying, "that's not EXACTLY what she said. You can't be mad at her, or criticize her, because even though she implied something, she didn't actually come right out and say it, so that makes it ok!"

3:12, It irritates the crap out of me when people, like yourself, refuse to hold people like Rosie accountable for her words and actions. Ok, just because she didn't post a caption stating exactly what her intentions were by posting that picture, then I can't say anything about it, is that what you're saying? Rosie knew exactly what she was doing and had every intention of it being interpreted that way. If she didn't, she would have come out and said, "I'm sorry, I just posted what I thought was a cute picture of my daughter. I had no intention of making a political statement." And if it wasn't her intention from the beginning, she sure likes the stir its caused as a result. If you are going to post a picture like that, you surely have thought about how it would be interpreted. Rosie knew exactly what she was doing - she's not that stupid. So don't say its us putting words in her mouth.

2:43, I'm not jumping down Rosie's throat for anything. I'm jumping down yours for being an idiot. Do you deny that Rosie is using this picture of her child as a political statement? I don't care if you guys let your kids dress up as ninjas, or army guys, or whatever. I doubt you take pictures of them in their costumes and post them on the Internet to make a point. I don't think most people are upset because she allows her kids to pretend; they're pissed because she used her daughter for her political agenda.

It is the hypocrisy of the picture. If Donald Trump or hell is Elizabeth Hasselbeck had her child dressed that way I guarantee Rosie would be running her mouth a mile a minute cutting those parents to pieces.
