Dancing With the Stars' Samantha Harris Welcomes Baby Girl

 Steve Granitz/WireImage.com  Dancing With the Stars co-host Samantha Harris will not be appearing on the premiere of the wildly popular dance competition on Monday night, but with good reason: She gave birth on Sunday to a baby girl, Josselyn Sydney Hess. Josselyn weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 inches long and is the first child of Harris and her financial wholesaler husband, Michael Hess. "Michael and I are ecstatic to have a little girl to welcome into our lives," Harris told E! Online. "We can't wait to introduce her to our family and friends in the morning!" Both mother and child were doing well, publicist Shara Koplowitz told the Associated Press. Harris, 33, is also a correspondent for E! News and has worked as a special correspondent for Good Morning America. She has also had small roles in such films as George of the Jungle, D3: The Mighty Ducks, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Who will fill in for Harris on the fifth season of Dancing With the Stars is anyone’s guess. "They told me we'll just have to wait and see," Koplowitz told the AP. "It's a surprise." She looks pretty old to have all those wrinkles at 33. I'm not a fan of her being a co-host on the show, she sounds too much like a man and her voice is hoarse. And I feel sad for the baby for having such a fugly name!!! Yuck!

Congrats to her and her hubby but really.....CONGRATS TO EVERYONE WATCHING DANCING!!! Now we won't have to deal with her for A WHOLE SEASON!! Yay!! I cannot stand her and couldn't wait to get rid of her on that show. maybe it will be a permanent replacement! You know Idol started with 2 co hosts and now is only one....there's hope yet!

Happy for her but never really understood the point of her even being on Dancing With the Stars was in the first place. She really adds nothing to the show but I guess since she's considered eye candy, maybe that's the reason.

It'll be a relief to have her off the show for awhile, she is the WORST host, constantly screwing up totals, inappropriate remarks, etc.,so hoping they find a permanent replacement. Congrats on the baby though!
