Don't be fooled by the name on the clothing. It looks good but it's VERY cheaply made. I bought a pair of Bitten khaki pants and the day after I bought them both buttons fell of and the inseam started coming out. I've sewn the buttons back on a couple of times only because I have a hard time finding pants for that are short enough for me. Not to mention, even after several washes, the inseam still feels like there are needles in it poking me in the legs. I'll probably end up spending more money taking them to a seamstress to have the inseam redone that I spent on the pants in the first place!

So no one has answered the question, is SJP aware of child labor or fair wages for foreign workers or does she just want to help overfed Americans save money on our clothes fettish like WalMart? I would like to know before I buy more clothes there...

Love Bitten by SJP!!!! Cheap and cute!!! Pants fit well.. Only problem is the sotres here in Kansas City never keep the shelves stocked very well... obviously people are buying the stuff so they need to order more and keep more in stock and they will profit more....

First, I LOVE the line! I have turned my sister, daughter and neices on to it and they also LOVE it! I think it's absolutely wonderful that Sarah Jessica Parker and Steve and Barry's did this. In this society where the book is almost always judged by its cover, it's great to be able to afford a nice cover. Second, all the talk about child labor is only coming up because the line is so inexpensive. I think Americans are used to being cynical and paying high prices for poorly made items. Instead of questioning the use of child labor by SJP why not question the fact that some manufatures over charge so they can pocket huge profits? Just a thought

I just got me some outfits, and they're great. They are arffortable and are cute for once. There isn't that many clothing lines out there who think that women that have alittle meat on them like to look cute and sexy and these clothes make you feel good at a reasonable price.

This clothing line was featured on Oprah... like she would feature anything that had anything to do with any illegal activities or child labor or slave labor. Come on people. Be real. The clothing line is so cheap because SJP will make her money by reaching a larger market for a lesser price whereas name brands such as Abercrombie rely on exclusivity and jack their prices up.

No one is trying to hurt children!! We buy these clothes for their price. Why do you think the Starbury line was created??? To give children, especially inner city children, a pair of sneakers for 14.99! So they wouldn't have to go without!!

Make clothing more affordable elsewhere and that is where women will shop! It's like this, people shop at Walmart, Target, etc because no one is rich (that I know at least) and we have to make a dollar go far.
In America, even the middle class struggle with such high prices on everything from food to gas to clothing!

We know there are some companies that use children and that's horrendous, and if I knew for a fact that was the case I would not shop there,
but let's say for example, that every or at least most low end places suddenly decide to use child labor....

How are we supposed to afford higher priced items elsewhere if the money is not there? What's the solution? Go without or go into debt?? That's just not reasonable.
So before everyone is on their high horse judging, spend a day in the life of the many people in the US who are making ends meet then get back to me.

Now about the line...

I bought two pairs of her shorts and I thought they were great! I have a butt and hips and the medium fit me!! She is thinking of the average woman. Her jeans weren't a great fit, but the material is super soft!

I also bought her perfume last year and I haven't used it. It smells kind of bad. Most of the celebrity perfumes are cheap smelling, so stick to your favorites, for me it's Amarige De Givenchy. Smells amazing and I've been using it for years.
Look, she is a beautiful, vibrant woman and if you don't like her clothes don't buy them. I personally think they are quite good and Steve and Barry was smart to bring her in, because the other clothes for woman they have available are pretty bad.

Listen i rather pay for her stuff then go to Abracrombie and paying $50 for a piece of crap tank top that falls apart shortly after you wash it. And its not fair to set blame on one when you should blame them all, and i am glad that there will finally some inexpenseive fashion and for all of you who think its just 'cheap crap' well guess what it just means that you can buy more, so who cares. And to those who claims that she uses child labor don't claim something that you cant back up, so put the known facts before you create them, and by the way i am not a fan and i have never have even seen her show, i just saw her line on the today show, and i am glad that she is makeing a line that most can afford. and by the way old navy, target,sears,kmart,walmart, and the gap all have clothing under $20. I love SJP and anything she creates will be in my closet. Especially if the clothing line is included for bigger women I wear a 14/16 and sometimes its so hard to find clothes that fit me right, especially for a good price. SJP is the best, and may I just say I need more sex and the city.... OMG just love that show lol!!!!

Sarah Jessica Parker is amazing. I don't think this has to do with being superficial or shallow at all - the fact of the matter is the woman has talent. She is a fashion icon and I can't wait for her line to come out. She made everyone fall in love with her style on sex and the city leaving everyone wanting more - and so the clothing line. I saw her on Oprah, and I think this is a FABULOUS idea. Way to go SJP - we love you!!
