The Big Apple is being invaded by comedians.
Funny folks from Sarah Silverman to Seth MacFarlane have signed on to headline the city's fourth annual comedy fest, set to run from November 6-11.
Joining potty-mouthed performer Silverman and Family Guy MacFarlane, are Bill Maher, Louis CK, Janeane Garofalo, Damon Wayans and four-time NY Fest attendee Denis Leary.
Founding partner Caroline Hirsch says of the fest's lineup of stand-up performances and panel discussions, “We’re thrilled to have drawn some of the sharpest, most hilarious performers."
And, it seems to Us, some of the most outrageous as well! Good thing New Yorkers are known or their tough skins.

Yeah, Sarah can be funny at times, but I've heard her say some really racist things, albeit, I think her grandmother or somebody in her family, is a Holacost survivor...go figure. She's used the word F****t and stereotyped black teenage girls on Jimmy Kimmel Live, suggesting that they are always having babies out of wedlock...and no one criticizes her about that. She's gotten away with much more. Oh I get it, she's just too funny and good looking to dispise...all this while Hollywood claims to be about "tolerance".
