Sex and the City Star Willie Garson Adopts a Son in L.A.

Sex and the City star Willie Garson — who plays Carrie Bradshaw's BFF Stanford Blatch — says he is "almost done" adopting a son.

He tells E! News the boy will be from "Los Angeles County."

“It’s a big deal," the unattached actor, 44, says. "It’s a big decision.”

He says the process wasn't easy.

"You know what, it should be difficult," he adds. "It’s not like buying a suit or another pair of glasses.”

(These stars have also adopted.)

So will there be playdates with other famous celeb offspring?

Perhaps.

"If I like their kids," he jokes, adding, "My kid’s going to be the coolest.”
