It's going to be hit with Shannen on board. However, Shannen have a little lose screw on her head and might leave the job hanging again just like what she did in the fisrt 90210 and Charmed. I hope they also cast Alyssa Milano in 90210....lol

It sounds like a publicity stunt. The article says she'll be playing a "guest director for a musical on the show", which means she'll only be on for a handful of episodes. She's not going to be on the show as a regular cast member. It's a shame too, because she was the best female character on the original 90210. I loved the Brenda and Dillon storyline.

obviously they just need to bring back as much of the original cast as they can & forget about the "new 90210" because we really want to see the original "group" reunited

Brenda was my favorite character on the original 90210. She may have been the witchy character, but she was also the most entertaining one, at least for me. Just look at all the other characters, they didn't get interesting until they did something wrong (like how basically everyone on the show ended up with a drug and alcohol problem and how they all slept with one another, and I mean the characters of course, not the actual actors). I'll definitely tune in to see Shannen. She's a very good actress and I think people forget that because all they remember is her tumultuous teen/twentysomething years. Now she's a grown woman and I'm sure the drama is over with, and she can just be the great actress she always has been.
