i am a Christian but i leave the judgment to God. yes its ok for us to point out to people when they are doing wrong but it should be to glorify God and to bring people out of sin not to condemn and ridicule others. if God can forgive sherri shepherd for her past who are YOU to condemn her? you have no right.

a lot of pro choice people are coming on here saying "I'm pro choice, but more than two abortions is wrong, murder, immoral etc." OK either you believe abortion is murder or you don't. If you are pro choice and you don't believe abortion is murder then what's the difference if a woman has 1 abortion or 20? we would all agree that having a colonic is just a medical procedure and doesn't kill anything, is not immoral etc. so if i had more colonics than i could count would you say "ok one is understandable but more than 2 colonics is a bit much!" this tells me that many of you pro choicers truly know or feel that there is something wrong with abortion...it makes no sense.

She has committed many despicable wrongs in the past, but at least she admits it and is sorry for it. Does that make you worthier and better than her? Who are we to judge? God is the ultimate judge. Even though we are sinners, Jesus died for us on the cross. Remember He loves us unconditionally, no matter who we are, or what we have done. It is true that some of us have sinned to a greater extent than others, and have committed unspeakable acts, but God forgives us and loves us all the same.

Sherri was candid about her experience and should not be demeaned for it. Many women need to share about past abortion experiences in order to get past it, so she did many women a favor by showing them you can get that forgiveness you are looking for. Any attempts to quell a conversation about abortion just stifle a conversation about the little known facts. A lot of hearts have changed on this issue of abortion since Roe V Wade, due to the vastly increased & readily available knowledge of human biology, and medical advancements in treatment of premature babies who are now viable outside the womb very early in the 3rd trimester. How long will it be before an unborn baby is viable via medical technology at any stage in gestation? We now know humans are biologically complete at the moment of conception and the human heart starts to beat at 21 days gestation - its a growing living human being before most women even realize they are pregnant. Younger educated women know this and are not holding on to the right to have an abortion as something sacred and cherished as baby boomer women do, they realize the baby has its own life and that its not the end of their world if they carry it to term.

miss Shepard shared her information with the world i feel inretrospect i would think she would like to take it all back and keep her private life private or maybe wait years like barbara walter to attemp to distroy someones life by admitting to an affair that she had. I would hope that it is not just for publicity that they spew their most private indecretions. I believe that the way the world is today we can say just about anything without thinking first.

I would hope that in the future we STOP THINK and PRAY first.

You say that you have more family members NOT on welfare than you have family that IS on welfare. Well guess what? I'm White (yeah - baby) and no generation or family member of mine has EVER been on welfare, ever. Oh and I can bet on average Black women DO NOT make more money than White women. On The View yesterday, Sherri said how her entire statement was not covered. She added that once she was told that God would forgive her and all those babies she aborted would be in heaven, she accepted God's forgiveness and accepted Christ as her Savior. She was not glamorizing abortion at all, but sharing her faith about what she did and give hope to other young women who have had abortions. Her explanation on the view was a lot better than what the US magazine is portraying her here. Come on, she's showing her new found faith in that she's living a celibate lifestyle! And that she explains is because of her faith in Christ! This lady may be a little ditzy at times, but let's give her credit where credit is due!
