Sherri Shepherd "Would Love" Michelle Obama to Be First Lady

View co-host Sherri Shepherd can't contain her admiration for potential first lady – and Us cover girl – Michelle Obama.

"She is so poised, gracious, intelligent, charming and funny," she told Usmagazine.com at the Daytime Emmy Awards in L.A. Friday night, which she co-hosted.

"I would love to have her as a first lady!" Shepherd said.

Obama was a guest on The View Wednesday.

"She showed another side of herself: a sweet side, a motherly side," Shepherd told Us. "She has a great sense of humor and her hair was fabulous!"

Shepherd predicted many will start sporting Michelle's trademark hairstyle. "Beauty shop [stocks] all over the world are going to just rise!" she joked.
