Indiana Jones actor Shia LaBeouf has apologized for using an anti-gay slur in an old video that hit YouTube Tuesday.
In the video (which has since been taken down), the actor, 22, and some pals are playing a slapping contest. He provokes his friend to hit him by calling him a "f----t."
“The videotape that is currently being circulated is several years old and captures Shia playing a game among friends in which he uses a derogatory word toward a friend,” LaBeouf’s rep tells E! News. "He regrets having used the word in any capacity and is very embarrassed that this footage is being seen by anyone."
This isn't the actor's first scandal.
Last November, he was arrested at a Chicago Walgreens and charged with a misdemeanor count of trespassing. The charges were later dropped.
He told David Letterman he was "pretty wasted" at the time. "Drinking and driving is one thing, but drinking and shopping ... it's just as bad," he said.

In February, a warrant for his arrest was issued for unlawful smoking in Burbank, California. The charge was later dismissed.
