Dance Dish: Who Will Take the Title?

This week’s performance round was the most important for our dancers, as it determined America’s top ten favorite hoofers, and tour participants.

Still on a Sabra/Dominic high after last week’s Shane Sparks routine, we were anxious to see what our new favorite duo would perform next. True to form, the kids brought their A-game, this time for a jazz number that started the night off on the right foot. Why did we ever doubt that Dominic? The routine was spot-on and got the judges – including super-choreographer Wade Robson - pumped.

However, with the good undoubtedly came the bad, as many of the crowd-pleaser couples (here’s looking at you, Hok and Jaime!) failed to match their previously solid scorecard. Broadway simply did not suit Hok, and America agreed, sending the L.A. B-boy packing, along with Danny Tidwell’s partner Anya, whose routine we think definitely should have merited at least another week and a top ten spot.

The night’s biggest disappointment? Lacey Schwimmer and her “prop,” Kam, who had us worried we’d have to say goodbye to him too soon. Luckily, he'll be coming to your city - and ours! - very soon on tour! The blue chippers’ hip-hop routine, choreographed by Dan Karaty - who is far better suited at the judges’ table – lacked the energy and technique we’ve come to love. However, this season’s title is still Schwimmer’s to lose, giving us hope she can quickly get out of her slump.

I think Sabra is going to win, altho I think it should be a tie between Sabra and Pasha. I guess that would contradict the title........but what else can they do?

I think Lacey is a fantastic dancer and certainly hope she stays around. I think she comes across as having an attitude and maybe thinking she is going to win b/c she is Benji's sister........and she is good enough to win but not better than Pasha and Sabra.

she is average... sara dances way betta than her.

they are prejudice sometimes. African-Americans can D A N C E.. it's in their BLOOD... if anything they can do ..that is DANCE!!!... and it's only two in the competition.... come on now... it seems like they are pulling f/that Lacey girl to win.. because she is that
loser's sister.. again, I say come on guys.. Sabra dances
circles around her .. OVERALL...DANNY SHOULD WIN!!

I wish that kameron could have stayed longer, besids the fact that he did better than Dominic, Kameron is a sexy guy. Who ever decided to break Kameron and Lacey as partners made a bad choice. Lacey may have attitude but she has the skills to back it up. I hope that she is the last one standung, then she can go find Kameron and live happily ever after. HA HA HA

i think that hok is an amazing dancer... unfortunately, the choreo, while enabling jamie to show her strengths, didn't allow hok to show what he can really do. hok brings a different flavor to the competition that will definitely be missed.

not enjoying the judges' cuts at all this season!
it is painful to see jessi, jesus, anya,jimmy, shauna...go
while VERY ordinary kameron and lauren stick around!
they are milk toast.
lauren has no extension, no beautiful lines, no fluidity
she is BLAH- my eyes never stay on her
as a busy mom i would have made time to try and see the top 10 touring.
but not with the likes of the top 5 girls
i do love and support pasha, sara and danny but it's not worth seeing the rest of them
the show is fixed
nigel picks his top 10 and sticks to it

I still don't get what is so great about Lacey. I have yet to vote for her. Sabra and Lauren are amazing. Lacey has an attitude...she acts like she's got the whole thing wrapped up.

I love to watch Danny fly...he is so amazing. If I had to pick a girl right now it would be Sabra.

I know what you mean about Danny. I think his dancing is magic. I can't look away for even a second. But it seems that at least once on every show one of the judges must make a underhanded remark about him. I'm not sure why that is.

Danny could walk on water and this show's viewers wouldn't vote for him. He's the most talented one of this bunch, but it doesn't matter....he's thought to be arrogant and is hated thru and thru.

Hok is a good dancer in his own style..but not so great in other styles. I figured he would go home last night. Personally, I love Neil.

i kept voting for hok on wednesday night! I'm sad to see him go.. and the Tour is going to be boring without Hok..
Neil should've gone, his 30 second routine was not impressive at all and it involved the same twirling jumps about 3-4 times.

Jesus should be in the top 10!!!! I was so bummed he was cut when we all knew it should have been Cedric. He was amazing!

Will really miss Hok, but he was the only guy they could send home. Anya should have gone home weeks ago, so no loss there. I am not a Lacey fan, she takes care of that all by herself. Too over the top for me. Love Danny, Dominic, and Neil is starting to grow on me. Sabra is amazing! So is Sara.

Hok had to go, he wasn't a versitile dancer. You have to be able to dance all styles. The shows will still sell out, a sell out is a sell out, can't sell more tickets if the are sold out. There are too many favs still there not to sell out each show.

Danny has to go to, he isn't connecting with the audience. Jamie will go too soon. They just don't have the audience vote. Then I believe Lauren and Neil or Kam will go. Last girl standing will be Lacey, Last guy Pasha. But Lacey will win all.

Lauren was in the bottom 3 weeks ago, she had that jacket on and the judges told her she had to do better if she got in the bottom 3 again. Said it took her half the time to remove the jacket.

Anya has been in the bottom 3 what 3 or 4 times now? People obviously don't like her so she had to go, Danny will too doesn't seem as big a hit as Dominic and Sabra, Pasha and Sara and Lacey and Kam, but now with couples changing every week, maybe something will be different. I personally think it will be Lacey or Pasha as the winner. Although I absoultely adore Dominic and Sabra.

I was surprised when it came down to it, that they let Hok and Anya go. Hok is clearly an audience favorite, and with him on the top ten tour he would have brought in more money. Also, Anya with her original partner Pasha, would have been a valuable asset to the tour circuit. So hard to peg the big wigs on this show!

Sure I was sad to see Anya go, but she doesn't have the strength independently. I figured it would be her and Hok. Lauren is versitile and it was the first time she was in the bottom 3 while Anya has been there the last couple weeks. I think the judges made the best decision based on the group they were dealing with.
I love all the rest and I have no idea how they are going to vote anyone off after last night!

Lauren should have gone home. Anya is SOOO MUCH BETTER than her. grrrrr.
As much as I love Hok, I think the other guys are better than him.

I agree, all the dancers are really good and I can't really pick a favorite overall. I was glad to Anya go though because I hated her solos, they were all the same thing just with different music.
