Stephen Colbert Running for "President"

 Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage.com Colbert for 2008? Stephen Colbert has announced his candidacy for president. (See video here.) "I shall seek the office of the president of the United States," the Comedy Central host, 43, declared Tuesday on his show, The Colbert Report, as red, white and blue balloons rained down around him. "After nearly 15 minutes of soul-searching, I have heard the call," he told the audience. Colbert said he planned to run in his native state of South Carolina, "and South Carolina alone" as both a Democrat and Republican, explaining, "I can lose twice." Bush and Cheney have done a great job...and this Stephen Colbert is a piece of liberal garbage. Democrats care less about the country...only thing they are concerned with are giving away hand-outs to people who don't need nor deserve them. And Canada is a pathetic excuse for a dump.

I'd vote for him. Too bad I don't live in South Carolina. I think Colbert/Stewart 2008 would be a great pair for a presidential run. Even though they are comedians, they both seem to be intelligent and informed on issues. They would do much better than this administration. Well, a hamburger could be a better president.
