Jackass star Steve-O has been hospitalized at a mental health unit of L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and charged with a felony possession of cocaine by the L.A. County District Attorney, TMZ.com reports.
It is the same unit that treated Owen Wilson last year following the actor's suicide attempt, TMZ says.
Steve-O's rep had no comment when reached by Usmagazine.com.
The drug charge is the result of his arrest earlier this month when he was allegedly found vandalizing his neighbor's property, TMZ reports.
Steve-O dated Nicole Richie in 2006.

I am glad hes getting help because he seems like a good guy even though he does a lot of stupid sh.t.
hes seems really smart and i just hope everything works out for him and he begins to live a happy, drug free life doing the things he truly wants to do, not stupid sh.t his friends encourage him to do.

I met Steve-O and his crew a few years ago. He is a really nice guy. He was very well behaved when we met but he is surrounded by people that encourage him to do stupid things. I would suggest that people be careful what they say about people with addiction and mental health problems cause it can push them over the edge. Steve-O is encouraged to behave in a crazy way and it gets him attention and he makes lots of money off of it too. I was a huge fan of his for a long time but I think he needs to take a step back and get the help he needs. People forget you can have fun and be successful sober. I hope he gets better soon.
