Rocker Steven Tyler Enters Rehab

 Lester Cohen/WireImage.com Rocker Steven Tyler, 60, has checked into Las Encinas Hospital drug rehabilitation clinic, Usmagazine.com has learned. The center is where Dr. Drew Pinsky treated patients for VH1’s Celebrity Rehab. "I know nothing about it," a rep told Us when first called. TMZ.com also reported the news. Tyler has sought treatment for drugs before. "Of course, I did way too many drugs. I sunk to my knees and lost everything," he has said to Britain's Independent newspaper. His daughter, Liv, has also been getting media attention recently having just announced her split from her musician-husband, Royston Langdon. Well just as I said.. people jump to conclusions without getting the facts right first. Steven Tyler issued a statement today about why he entered the hospital. Steven, you have a huge fan club that is standing behind you. I pray that you get through whatever your needs are as smoothly as possible, and get back to living life again. I have been a loyal fan since I was 13 years old, and I will be 48 this year so I don't see that changing =) As for immature, hateful people ... Hateful people are quick to make judgements about others. Usually people like that are not happy with their own lives, and try to feel better about themselves by hating on someone else. Does anyone actually know what type of "substance abuse" he is being treated for? I have not been able to find any details about that, but I do know that he had throat surgery awhile back, which means he was more than likley taking pain meds which can be addictive. Whatever the case .. He entered a treatment facility and he gets my respect for recognizing, and dealing with the problem. Much love to you Steven and GOD BLESS YOU!

I know S.T. has better things to do than read the US magazine blogs, but I totally support him. He spent quite a few years sober - he's not pulling a Lindsay Lohan here. And ugly? Yes, Steven Tyler is ugly, but he's the SEXIEST ugly guy I've ever seen! Mmmm-mmmm-mm!!!

Wow.. if they make it through rehab together, without killing each other, I think that'll last.. 24-7 in that environment will be hard, but at least they have each other to lean on.. Could be a disaster though if they survive, but break up at a later date.. Dunno what to think about this, but all the best. I'm off to have a glass of wine - everything in moderation I'm in Europe so with it being 9.10pm, its allowed :D
