FACEBOOKI would of been mad too, yes Kanye is arrogant, but he is a much better performer than Britney right now. There was no reason for Britney to even be on stage, I honestly believe MTV was a taking a cheap shot at Spears by allowing her to perform. They just televised a train wreck. If I was Kanye I would of been just as upset. Yes he's arrogant, but he backs it up with every performance, single and Cd. America admit it you love it!

Not Kanye West. At Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood bash in L.A. September 26, the rapper, 30, who railed against MTV at the September 9 VMAs when he lost all five awards for which he was nominated (and also lambasted the network for choosing Britney Spears to open the show), still held a grudge.
Us reporters were stationed next to the MTV and VH1 camera crews on the red carpet, and when MTV attempted to film Kayne’s interview with Us, the rapper swatted away the MTV cameras, telling the cameraman and producer, “I have nothing against you, just your bosses.”
The producer protested, "I have nothing to do with that man," but Kanye kept his hand over the lens during his entire interview with Us.

The game is tuff and far more involved and complex than most of us could ever realize. Money and Corruption still make the world go 'round. Kanye is just doing what he feels is right trying to show that big corporations that control so much of "the people" can't also push artists around that are also trying to reach the people and give them what they want. MTV could have given Kanye at least one award. But since they banked so much off of using his name, his nomination, his success and his performance for their show the SHOULD have given him an award. He is still going to continue to make them money but fair is fair. Too many times they sacrifice the wrong people (like Kanye) and support the new artist, that aren't experienced, that they don't have to pay much and hopefully will be gone next year and open the door for another sucker.

I don't really understand why people antagonize Kanye West. Leave the man alone. One, no one understands West because you aren't in his shoes. Two, you also have to realize that he is confident, not cauky. Then man is legendary. He should have won most of those awards. He is way too talented not to snatch a couple. My point is, he is one of the few artist in Hip-Hop that is manifesting something out of nothing. Meaning, Hip-Hop is dead and has been since we came into the year 2000. It all became a bunch of crap. Now, you have a very elite group that is birthing the new era of Hip-Hop. West, happens to be one of them.
My other point is why would so many people work with West if he was really such an ass. Common is a sweetheart, hard worker, and a personality that is amazing. So you think he would have anything to do with West if he were really that ignorant?? Think about it. His persona on TV is a character that he has to play. But when he is behind closed doors, I am sure that he is a gentleman. He is one that wants work to be done and for work to be GREAT. And, it is. It's beyond Greatness.... He's a genius. I think that it is only fair for him to respond the way he has been. If you think about.... West created his destiny, career and life style. He made it all happen. No one served him with a silver platter and said here is a contract. Everyone is ridiculing West for the same thing most Human's do in everyday life. Think about that before you spread negative energy unto a human that you don't care to get to know. Because, the bottom line is you can't. And, be aware that Hip-Hop wouldn't be what it is today if it weren't for him. He saved what most of us love.

Does anyone realize that if Kanye is so angry with MTV, he should be boycotting BET also? MTV and BET are owned by the same company. Anyone ever notice how MTV, BET, and VH1 will show the same re-runs of each channel's show. Sooo if he's doing interviews on BET....he's not exactly boycotting anything. Crazy f#^@ actually thinks he's GOD. He's out of his mind and his little temper tantrums are so sad and pathetic. I can't stand him. His songs may be cool but his attitude is not. A lot of people win who shouldn't. It took usher years before he won. And how many songs did Kanye even perform that night...at least 3 up and down those stairs he went with those obnoxious glasses. Still he performed well with out the main stage, he is right they did use britney for ratings. MTV hyped her up way too much. But I still don't know too many people who can have 2 kids, have the world follow her around all day, and still get up there with a hit song, bad hair extensions and with a few shots of tequila.
