Last night, I had an extra-amazing experience at the opening of the new Banana Republic flagship store in Manhattan -- I got to meet one of my idols, Mary-Louise Parker. She was there to introduce her musician beau, Charlie Mars, who sang a few tunes at the event, but I just couldn’t stop gushing over all of the amazing roles she’s played. Nancy Botwin from Weeds is a genius character, and Parker starred in my all-time favorite play, How I Learned to Drive.
The girl’s also got great taste, and was sporting super cool midnight blue nail polish, which contrasted so perfectly with her creamy, pale skin. Of course I couldn’t resist asking her what she was wearing, and was thrilled to hear that it was none other than another one of my faves, OPI Russian Navy!
