Lady Gaga to Receive Accessories Award

Lady Gaga is known for her wild wardrobe choices as much as her hit songs, and now the fashion industry is taking notice.

The singer will be given the Stylemaker Award at the 13th Annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards on Monday, Women's Wear Daily reports.
Lady Gaga -- who's typical look often includes a hair bow, hat, sunglasses, gloves and even a couture neck brace -- is "well-appointed in accessories," ACE President Karen Giberson said in a statement Thursday.

"Just when you thought you saw everything in originality, there she is again," Giberson said. "People anticipate what she's going to wear and it's exciting to see accessories as such a meaningful part of someone's wardrobe."

Designer Marc Jacobs will present the singer with the award.
Other honorees at the ACE Awards include designer Diane von Furstenberg with an Accessory Visionary Award and Barbie as Fashion Icon.
