Brrrr! Those 3/4 sleeved coats and knits are hot, but boy, my forearms are cold! Now, Urban Outfitters has something snappy to keep those arms toasty and chic.
I just love the way a 3/4 length or elbow-length knit or coat looks! So modern, so fresh! I'm also happy that the temps are dipping a bit so I can finally wear all of those new wardrobe items, but as much as I love them, my arms are exposed and I'm chilly. I don't want to overlay layer and sweat in the New York City subway with the rest of the lot. Solution? These extra long leather gloves. These are amazing -- I love the length, the zipper, the whole shebang.
The plan is to pull them up, scrunch them down and just play with them. Available in whiskey brown and black, the gloves are sized small/medium and medium/large. And what a steal at just $48!
I love mixing the whiskey with a grey coat and black bag. Or even navy. All of those colors together. I also love the idea of a black glove with a bright colored coat or a nice oatmeal-colored knit. And I like the zipper hardware mixed with a new studded fall bag or just a plain leather satchel.
And of course, I'm feeling very Howard Hughes lately with being fearful of germs and touching what other straphangers hold on to or even touching cash. Crazy? Maybe. But at least I'll be insanely chic while I try to protect myself.
