"My fashion is about the urban woman in the year 3000, when there is a ton of pollution and we all need to protect our bodies and cover up, because the air outside will acidize our skin," the singer (shopping in London in April) has said of her eccentric ensembles. "I think about obscure, weird things and try to create a world around them."
