Demi Lovato Goes Back to Blonde, Shares New ‘Goldie Locks’ Look on Instagram

All she needs now are the three bears! Demi Lovato debuted her new blonde hairdo on Instagram on Sunday, October 16, and captioned the snap “Goldie Locks.”

The “Cool for the Summer” singer wore a full face of makeup and a casual white sweatshirt for the late-night selfie.

Her long blonde tresses hung over her shoulders, and the picture quickly got plenty of likes from her 38 million followers.

Lovato was flooded with compliments from fans who called her “beautiful” and described her new look as “stunning.”

The 24-year-old’s transformation comes hot on the heels of her October 4 revelation that she’s taking a time-out from showbiz next year.

As Us Weekly reported, she tweeted: “So excited for 2017. Taking a break from music and the spotlight. I am not meant for this business and the media.”

In response to a comment she then added: “It doesn’t feel worth it anymore. I’d rather do charity work.”

Lovato has had plenty of other changes this year, most notably her June breakup from her boyfriend of six years, Wilmer Valderrama.

She revealed the reason behind the split in the November issue of Glamour magazine.

“Being sick was always a part of my relationship with him;” she said of her well publicized battles with eating disorders, substance abuse and mental illness. “I always had something wrong with me. I needed to let go of that.”

In the same interview she addressed her ongoing feud with Taylor Swift and criticized her once more for her squad “tearing down” Katy Perry in her “Bad Blood” video.

“Don’t brand yourself a feminist if you don’t do the work,” she said. “I think that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down, that’s not women’s empowerment.”

It was shortly after the interview was released that Lovato announced her break from the limelight.
