Back to business. Kourtney Kardashian emerged alongside her 6-year-old son, Mason Disick, in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 4, following a hectic time during Paris Fashion Week 2016.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 37, ran errands in an Under Armour sports bra with matching yoga pants. For modesty, she layered the look with a black nylon bomber, and she added a dose of luxury with oversized sunglasses and a small black leather Hermes Birkin handbag. Instead of Yeezy sneakers from Kanye West’s Adidas line, she wore a pair of gray knit Athletic Propulsion Labs sneakers. This athletic ensemble was a radical change from some of her nearly-naked looks during Paris Fashion Week. For the Balmain show on September 29, she went pantsless in a bodysuit by the brand and changed into a bra top and wrap skirt, also by Balmain, for the afterparty that same night.
It’s great to see the reality star afloat after Kim Kardashian’s traumatic robbery in Paris on Monday, October 3. The mom of North, 3, and Saint, 10 months, was tied up and gagged in her apartment bathroom by five men masquerading as police officers.
The thieves took an estimated $10 million worth of jewelry, including Kim’s $4.5 million, 20-carat ring by Lorraine Schwartz. Kourtney had been with Kim for much of the week, including front row at Balmain on September 29. She and half-sister Kendall Jenner rushed to be by Kim’s side soon after the robbery, leaving a party at L’Arc nightclub where they had been accompanied by bodyguard Pascal Duvier.
“She thought there was going to be a sexual assault or that she was going to be killed in the bathroom. They did not speak English. Kim was hysterically crying, begging for her life, telling them about her babies,” an insider told Us Weekly about the robbery. “After they left she was able to wiggle her hands out of the tie and then she was able to get the rest of the stuff off of her.”
Thankfully, Kim safely returned to New York City on Monday, October 3, where husband Kanye West came to comfort her.
“Kanye doesn’t care about anything that was taken — he just cares that Kim is safe,” a separate source notes. “She’s beside herself.”
