Now that’s a power suit! Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is known for her preference of bright, tailored pantsuits. But just in time for the third and final debate against Republican nominee Donald Trump, Reebok is revamping her wardrobe staple with a sporty twist. The athletic brand sketched up their athleisure version featuring their performance materials.
“We wanted to imagine a collection of pantsuits that highlighted power and strength,” Inga Stenta, Reebok’s Senior Director of Brand Management said in a release. “Women like Clinton are tough and unapologetic. Although we don’t often see candidates sweat, the bright lights of the debate and the pressure of the national stage can raise temperatures. Performance wear seems to be the perfect choice for situations like this.”
Those pieces, made of Reebok’s ventilated ACTIVChill fabric, are meant to keep the candidate cool all night long. The three sketched suits include jogger pants cuffed at the hem, suit jackets with bonded zippers, and a blazer with caped sleeves. One top is made with the brand’s Dance Strappy Bra — the same one that brand ambassador Gigi Hadid wears in her #PerfectNever advertising campaign.
Clinton’s fictional wardrobe is perfect for her nature, even according to Trump’s description of his opponent.
"She does fight hard," Trump said of Clinton at the close of the second debate on October 9. ”She doesn't quit, she doesn't give up, and I consider that to be a very good trait."
