Something to smize about! Tyra Banks officially does it all. The former supermodel, 42, who took Harvard Business School courses four years ago, is a soon-to-be Stanford University lecturer, a mom and one heck of an entrepreneur. Tyra Beauty, her eponymous cosmetics line, not only looks pretty but also totes a powerful message.

“It’s for everybody! Our mission statement is about embracing your certain flaws but also having the power and the tools to transform what you’ve got into what you want, if you want to do that, too,” the mom of 7-month-old York, with partner Erik Asla, tells Us Weekly. “I see the model in everybody.”

She’s already made good on that promise with products like the Sculpt in a Stick Face Contour ($25, tyrabeauty.com), in shades that range from café au lait to a dark chocolate. If you’re trying to find the right hue for your skin tone, Banks suggests trying it out in natural light. “I wouldn’t say go outdoors, because it’s too open and it can create certain shadows,” she notes. “But you should swatch your lower jawline and swatch with daylight, inside, with a mirror, facing a window. So have a handheld mirror and test on your jaw.”

Banks is also a novice at all things mascara. “It really does make a difference!” she says. One of her Tyra Beauty must-haves is the B.I.G. Lashes Silk Extension System ($35, tyrabeauty.com). “We have these silk extension fibers, and then we have a nourishing mascara that goes with it,” she explains. “Do that a couple of times, and your lashes just go and go and go and go!”

In fact, the former America’s Next Top Model host and producer takes the same approach with her own beauty routine as she’s so busy doting on York, a sweet little boy who loves people and “likes to be in on the action.”

“We have a five-minute TyOver [a “fierce, transformative makeover … Tyra-style,” according to her site for Tyra Beauty where you can do a full face in five minutes, so I’d already been doing that before I had the baby,” she reveals. “I will wear lipstick, but when I come home I immediately take it off so I can kiss my little pumpkin! So that’s the biggest thing. I’m like, ‘Ooh, I’m going out tonight, I can put on my lips because he’s not here and I’m not going to kiss him every five seconds!’”
