At the Los Angeles premiere of Beauty and the Beast on March 2, Watson surprised fans by skipping the requisite gown and wearing an edgier jumpsuit — a plunging number by Oscar de la Renta. She softened the look with an intricately braided updo by top hairstylist Adir Abergel. Abergel added texture to locks with Leonor Greyl Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice before blow-drying, then worked Baume Bois De Rose through ends to create separation, before weaving strands and adorning them with a luxe hair accessory — the gold quill halo plus seven gold quill bobbis from his Adir x Lelet NY line. Makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua added interest with a double-stroked cat eye using Jane Iredale Liquid Eyeliner in Brown.
Instead of the Oscars this year, Watson was far, far away in Shanghai at a screening of Beauty and the Beast. She rocked a dramatic — and romantic! — tulle and silk gown with matching cape embellished with sequins, beads and stones. The cornerstone of the makeup? A bright pop of hot orchid pink on lips, a combination of Absolution Cosmetics Sweet & Safe Kiss Lipstick in Rouge Bordeaux and Kjaer Weis Lipstick in Beloved.
For the London premiere of Beauty and the Beast, the Perks of Being a Wallflower star looked ever the English rose with glowing skin and rosy cheeks and lips. In an Instagram post from her press tour account, Watson shared her decision to wear an Emilia Wickstead off-the-shoulder gown made from end-of-line fabric by an all female team. She got her glow thanks to RMS Un Cover-Up and Ilia A Fine Romance Multi-Stick.
Ooh la la! The Noah actress stunned at the Paris premiere of "Beast and Beauty - La Belle Et La Bete" in an eco-friendly Louis Vuitton cut-out dress designed by Nicolas Ghesquière made entirely of recycled plastic bottles. She paired this thoroughly modern concept with a futuristic voluminous double–bun updo.
Met Gala moment! At 2016’s Costume Institute event Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology, Watson hit the red carpet in a three-part gown made from recycled water bottles created by Calvin Klein Collection in conjunction with sustainable brand consultancy Eco Age. She offset the gown with simple bronze lids, bold brows and a ‘40s-inspired hair set.
