America sent Kameron Bink packing last week on So You Think You Can Dance. The day after his ouster, Bink, 21, gave Us a ring to discuss his favorite moves and the secret behind his sexy chemistry with partner Lacey Schwimmer.

Usmagazine.com: You made an interesting first impression during tryouts.
Kameron Bink: The first day I walked into rehearsal with [judge/choreographer] Mia [Michaels], and before she said hi, she grabbed me by the shoulder and her first words were, "I […] hate your hair!" Maybe she thought I was putting on a show, but that's just me - I'm just very open with my style.

Us: Did you feel like you had to conform during your time on the series?
KB: No, I was just being myself and having fun. I'm just not a cutthroat, fight-for-the-camera type of person. Maybe that was bad in the end because people didn't really get a chance to know me as well as some of the other dancers, but I'm not going to change just because the cameras are around.

Us: Your chemistry with Lacey was certainly hot!
KB: The first couple of weeks were really strong [for us] and everybody had high expectations. I think the judges slowly got tired of so much chemistry. Lacey is just on top of her game and as time went on she started to outshine me a little bit. Honestly, I was completely satisfied with that role and enjoyed being there.

Us: How do you feel about judge Dan Karaty’s comment that you were simply a prop for Lacey?
KB: It takes two people to make every one of those dances work and no one dancer can do it by themselves. I've never seen a dancer create chemistry with a prop and I've never seen a prop throw someone around the stage!

Us: What was your reaction to judge Wade Robson’s admission last week that the routine he choreographed was anti-war?
KB: I have friends in the military and dear friends who are Marines. I support all the troops, but to say that you're antiwar doesn't mean you're not patriotic and pulling for our troops overseas.
