The Hills star shows off her collection on The View

Hills star Heidi Montag hosted a fashion show of her clothing line Heidiwood by Anchor Blue on The View Thursday (Watch above).

Montag brought along boyfriend Spencer Pratt to the talk show, which aired from Las Vegas.

"[Heidiwood] is fun and flirty for the everyday woman," Heidi has said.

On The View Wednesday, Jessica Simpson declared she and Tony Romo are still going strong.

"We're still together ... we've been together for about seven months — almost eight," she said on the live show from Las Vegas. "I don't know about wedding bells ... but I'm still with him, so that's a good sign."

After her appearance Simpson (who was accompanied by her father Joe and hairstylist Ken Paves) greeted fans and posed for photos as she walked out of Caesars Palace.

As Us previously reported, Romo and Simpson had cooled things off after Joe began interfering in the relationship (he wanted to take over Romo's NFL career). A source said Romo gave Jessica an ultimatum: Tell dad to back off!

She'll sing "Come on Over" June 25

Jessica Simpson will perform her first single from her upcoming country album on The View on June 25.

The singer will sing "Come on Over" from Las Vegas, where the chat-fest is broadcasting that week.

Us Weekly reports in its new issue, on newsstands now, that Simpson's controlling father Joe has brought her relationship with Tony Romo to the brink and was the main source behind their split in May – and he even tried to manage the NFL player's career.

Watch the actor's taped message to The View

Tom Cruise made a surprise message for Barbara Walters on the occasion of her 50th anniversary in television.

The actor said in a taped clip broadcast Wednesday: "Do you realize that on October 4,1976, when you became the first woman ever to anchor the evening news... that that moment in time would forever empower other women to reach for their goals in any field that they chose?"

He also called Walters a "leading force for women not only in the newsroom but the world at large" (Watch above).

Walters responded with a giggle, "Oh, Tommy baby! How nice!"

Walters just published her memoir, Audition, in which she writes about her affair with a married senator and why Star Jones left The View.

She pulls out of the Monday interview after marrying Nick Cannon in the Bahamas

Mariah Carey has canceled her scheduled appearance on The View this Monday, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.

The singer, 39, wed beau Nick Cannon, 27, at her new home in Eleuthera in the Bahamas this week, the New York Post reported after Latina magazine broke news of their nuptials Thursday.

Family member Linda Cannon told the E! network that Nick called her with the good news.

"Yes, we know. He called us and told us all about it," she said. "We are happy for him. If that is what he wants, then we are happy for him."

She added, "I'm not going to give you any details, but we are happy for him."

The potential first lady will likely respond to the recent recipe controversy

Cindy McCain, wife of presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain, will co-host The View on Monday, April 21.

The appearance comes after a McCain campaign intern lifted Rachael Ray's recipe for rosemary chicken (as well as other Food Network recipes) and posted them as "Cindy's Recipes" on the campaign's site.

The campaign swiftly removed the recipes after the Huffington Post reported the plagiarism and the intern responsible was "dealt with," a campaign spokesperson said.

Ray invited the McCains to come on her show. She told Usmagazine.com in a statement: "These recipes are supposed to be accessible to everyone – interns, senators, students and families alike! I am flattered when anyone cooks my food."

Just in time for tomorrow's New Hampshire primary, View cohost Elisabeth Hasselbeck returned to the show on Monday after a three-month maternity leave.

Hasselbeck, 30, had readied son Taylor Thomas – born on Nov. 9 – for his first close-up.

"I thought I'd bring some testosterone to the table," she joked as she cradled Taylor in her arms.

The singer says she wants “a family man” and reveals her ultimate celeb crush

After a string of failed romances – Nick Lachey, Adam Levine, John Mayer — Jessica Simpson says she is now looking for a different type of guy: a family man.

“Like, if a kid were to come up to him and tug on his shirt, he’d pick him up on twirl him around,” she explained on The View Thursday. “I definitely love a family man, a guy that’s not afraid to pick up the babies.”

Oh yeah, she added: “And somebody who wants to meet my grandparents immediately ... if he has a cute butt, that’s all right.”

(Her celeb crush? “[George] Clooney is a little hottie,” she gushed. “He’s a man!”

Still the single singer, 27, said she is too busy for love at the moment.

“I’m kind of married to my music right now and focusing on writing an album,” said Simpson, who is recording a country album in Nashville.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck has named her son Taylor Thomas, she announced in a phone call to The View Monday.

She joked that she was in labor "forever ... at least four or five thousand hours!"

Hasselbeck, 30, and her husband Tim, an NFL quarterback, welcomed Taylor in Arizona Friday. He weighed 7 pounds and 15 ounces.

She said the couple's daughter Grace, 2, "loves him."

She will return to the show January 6.
