Bill O'Reilly blames Billy Ray Cyrus for daughter Mile's Vanity Fair topless photo scandal.

On Monday's O'Reilly Factor, he said the country singer had been "canny" about keeping his 15-year-old daughter (who earned $18.2 million last year) out of scandal.

"Then they go into Vanity Fair — which is not her audience at all," he said. "He puts her into a situation where she becomes, at 15, a sex symbol.

"Middle America," O'Reilly added, "they don't like this."

Though O'Reilly said he thinks "Miley is a nice girl," she made "a bad decision."

His suggestion? "She should do Oprah and say, 'We made a mistake, here's why and it won't happen again,'" O'Reilly advised.

O'Reilly had previously called for a conference to discuss photos of a lingerie-clad Miley that had recently hit the Internet.

On Monday, Michele Combs, a spokesperson for the Christian Coalition of America, told Usmagazine.com that Disney should reprimand the Hannah Montana singer.

"If she's gonna go out there and represent wholesome values, she needs to be more accountable for her actions," Combs said.

Fox News host Bill O'Reilly has called for a "conference" to discuss new leaked photos of a lingerie-clad Miley Cyrus, 15.

"Look, we have so few role models, particularly for little girls in this country," he said on his show Wednesday. "She is the main one. I hate to see this.

"Parents all over the country like this girl because she is clean-cut."

In the photos, he said she "is kinda doing a teasy, peek-a-boo thing."

"She's 14 in these pictures — that is the problem," he added. "She's 14, and and the guy [is] obviously older [in the photos]."

On Tuesday, Cyrus pal Joe Jonas came to her defense.

“No one’s perfect and everybody makes their mistakes," he said. "I think it’s the way you handle it and come out of it the proper and respectful way."

Cyrus, an Us Power Girl who just inked a seven-figure book deal for a memoir, has yet to comment on the photos, which hit the Internet earlier this week.

Yet another celebrity is sounding off on matters of medicine without getting the facts first. In 2005, Tom Cruise famously called psychiatry “a pseudoscience” and prescribed vitamins and exercise as cures for depression, announcing on the Today show, "There is no such thing as a chemical imbalance in a body.”

Now radio show host Bill O'Reilly is courting controversy by making false statements about abortion on his nationally syndicated radio show, Radio Factor.

According to Media Matters, on the October 11th edition of the program, O'Reilly claimed that it "is never the case" that a "mother's life is in danger" during pregnancy because "you can always have a C-section and do those kinds of things."

He reiterated: "Forty-five percent of Americans, according to a new CNN poll -- 45 percent say all abortions should be outlawed unless the mother's going to die -- or catastrophic health consequences, which again, is never the case -- never."

"I absolutely don't agree," says Dr. Laura Corio, an obstetrician and gynecologist at Mount Sinai. "Pregnancy can absolutely be life threatening. It can be a happy and blessed event, but it can also have a risk. I think it can absolutely be a situation that is life-threatening. Women have died in pregnancy."

According to doctors, there are a variety of conditions in which a woman’s life is threatened by pregnancy. In cases of severe hypertension or a cardiac disorder, delivery could result in a heart attack.

An ectopic pregnancy, in which the fertilized egg typically settles within the fallopian tube, ovary, abdomen, or cervix, instead of the uterus, can also be fatal to the mother if the baby is carried to term.

Also, in cases involving cervical cancer, diabetes, thyroid diseases, GI tract disorders, and infectious diseases, delivery can result in the mother’s death.

Adds Dr. Lisa Masterson, obstetrician and gynecologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A.: "Pregnancy is one of the most dangerous things a woman can undertake in her life."
