After settling with ex Peter Cook, she says getting hitched "would not be a very intelligent thing to do"

After settling her bitter divorce with ex Peter Cook, Christie Brinkley (who's been wed four times) says she has no more plans to say "I do!".

"I'm not going to marry again," the model, 54, told the New York Post hours after her trial ended Thursday. "I know too much about the marriage laws and divorce laws. Getting married again would not be a very intelligent thing to do."

At her trial, a court-appointed psychologist said Brinkley "needs to start working on deeper issues," including "her choice of male figures."

Still, she says airing her dirty laundry at the public trial was worth it.

"I've got my sweet freedom!" said the model, who retained sole custody of her kids and will keep all 18 properties in the Hamptons that were being disputed. (She agreed to pay the 49-year-old Cook $2.1 million.)

"I was fighting for my family," Brinkley said. "I think when you're fighting for your family's well-being, almost anything you have to go through is worth it."

She kept a sense of humor when asked if she were glad the ordeal was over.

"I was down to my last outfit!" she cracked. "It had to end."

Jessica Biel says her life will be fine even if she doesn't walk down the aisle one day.

“The actual idea of signing those papers and doing all this stuff ... I’ve never been someone who’s like, ‘I have to, have to, have to have it,'" the actress, 26, says in the August issue of Harper's Bazaar.

Though she doesn't mention beau Justin Timberlake's name, she adds, "the idea of being with somebody I care about, who’s my soul mate, that sounds groovy.”

(Timberlake's pal, Trace Ayala, recently told Us that he didn't see wedding bells in their future but said Biel and Timberlake "are just awesome together.")

Focusing on her acting career, Biel also says she doesn't want kids right now.

“I think when you make a decision to have a family and children, everything else comes second,” Biel says. “But if I choose to have a family, I would hope to create a balance, because I don’t want to lose my sense of identity, my career, and my independence. Why can’t I have both? Why can’t I have everything? So many women do it.”

As for her hot bod, Biel says, “I am the shape that I am. I feel no shame in it, you know what I mean? My mother always made me feel just great the way I was.”

The Colorado native tells the magazine she was always active as a kid.

“We didn’t really have video games or watch TV. We were always camping. My brother and I spent all of our time outside,” she says. “Playing soccer. Doing gymnastics, skiing, snowboarding. That’s really how I grew up. So for me, being athletic and active is a way of life.”

She admits adjusting to Hollywood life wasn't easy.

“I felt for a long time that I wasn’t ballsy enough. Not cool enough. Not strong enough. Too much of a pushover," she says.

"But at this point in my life," Biel adds, "I’m so thankful for the values that I had growing up, and I don’t care about that stuff anymore. I’m not going to be the coolest or the most ballsy. And I’m not going to be the most outspoken, and, guess what, that’s cool. That’s okay.”

Twenty-one-year-old Heidi Montag recently told Us she's ready to walk down the aisle with Spencer Pratt, but pal Audrina Patridge says she may want to reconsider.

"I think she's still young, and I just feel like she shouldn't get married right away," Patridge, 23, told Usmagazine.com at the Dodge Challenger Celebrity Drag Race in Rosamond, California, on Tuesday. "They should be together and see if they can actually live together for a year without fighting.

"Once you are married," Patridge added, "you're married."

She said her summer has been busy "filming the fourth season of the show."

Does she ever get tired of the cameras tracking her every move?

"I've kind of just accepted it, but there is a point where I want to get back into my private life and get into acting more," said Patridge, who is currently shooting her first movie.

Us also caught up with the reality star at the Nylon/MySpace School of Rock bash in L.A. the same day.

Asked if she's still buds with Lauren Conrad, she replied, "Ummm....yeah."

McDreamy may not know how to make a marriage last on Grey’s Anatomy — but Patrick Dempsey sure does!

“Love, humor and communication — those are the bedrocks of a good relationship,” the Versace-clad Dempsey, 42, told Usmagazine.com Monday at the NYC premiere of his wedding-themed romantic comedy Made of Honor.

He plays a compulsive womanizer in the comedy, but he insisted the character's "nothing like me at all — I'm married and have kids!"

Of wife Jillian, the father-of-three said, "She's immensely supportive. Without her, I wouldn’t be here.”

So does Dempsey — who recently revealed he has pec envy — have any funny memories from their 1999 nuptials?

“The photographers were just drunk and never got a good picture!” he joked.

They filed their signed marriage license last Friday in Scarsdale, New York

Put any doubts to rest: Beyoncé and Jay-Z are definitely husband and wife.

Their signed marriage license was filed last Friday in Scarsdale, New York, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.

On April 1, they "applied for a marriage license," Scarsdale Town Clerk Donna Conkling tells Us.

"They were very low-key and weren't dressed up," she says. "They did not have a large entourage."

They took the license home that day, Conkling says, to have their hush-hush April 4 NYC wedding.

They signed the document and mailed it in after the ceremony.

"We received it back on Friday," Conkling says.

Kate Hudson says she is taking a cue from her mother Goldie Hawn and her longtime beau Kurt Russell.

"They're great — they've just celebrated 25 years together!" she told Usmagazine.com at the London premiere of Fool's Gold on Thursday. "They definitely know the secret."

The actress, 28 — who split from husband Chris Robinson last year — reignited her romance with on-and-off beau Owen Wilson in February.

"It's hard" maintaining a love life, career and raising son, Ryder, 4, Hudson admitted. (Click here to see how she and other stars bundled their babies for winter.)

"I make sure my priorities are right," Hudson told Us. "The examples I set are just how I am with my family, and nobody knows that but me, my closest friends and family."

Reports that the rapper and Alexis Phifer have tied the knot are “untrue”

Kanye West and designer Alexis Phifer haven’t said “I Do!” — yet.

West’s rep tells Usmagazine.com that Internet reports that the two wed in a secret ceremony in Europe are “untrue.”

West, 30, proposed to Phifer in 2006 while vacationing in Italy. They spent time in Europe earlier this month for Paris Fashion Week.

Sources close to the Grammy-Award winning rapper previously told Usmagazine.com that he would tie the knot with Phifer to honor his late mother’s wishes that they make their relationship official.

West has also said he’d have a low-key ceremony.

“I’m just going to go and get married,” he told GQ last year. “I’m not going to make a big deal out of it.”

Pamela Anderson has filed for divorce from Rick Salomon two months after getting married in Las Vegas.

In a December 14 filing obtained by Usmagazine.com, Anderson sought a claim for dissolution of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

According to the papers, the date of separation is Dec. 13.

The split was first reported by celebtv.com.

Her management company had no comment when contacted by Usmagazine.com.

The couple wed on Oct. 6 after dating for a month.

This is Anderson's second quick marriage. She was married to Kid Rock for four months in 2006.

Anderson, 40, has two sons (Brandon, 11, and Dylan, 9) from her previous marriage with rocker Tommy Lee.

Salomon, 39, is known for producing and starring in a 2003 sex tape with ex-girlfriend Paris Hilton. He has two daughters from a previous marriage.

No wonder Anderson nixed plans for their reality show.

After being named Us' runner-up couple of the year, Katie Holmes has opened up about her one-year marriage to Tom Cruise, revealing his biggest turn-on.

"Tom likes me in a suit and a mini every now and then. I like it when he likes it. It makes me blush," she told the January issue of In Style. "He'll say, 'You look good. I hope security's going with you.' Now that gives me attitude."

Holmes, 28, said they would "love to" have more kids, but " I'm in no particular rush."

When Suri was born in 2006, Cruise, 43, was "by my side the whole time," Holmes said. "I couldn't have asked for a more supportive human being. He had the room ready, candles everywhere, pictures in frames. It was very homey and beautiful."

How is their daughter doing at 20 months?

"Suri is talking up a storm, running around, so aware," Holmes says. "She loves coloring and creating. She's a great mimic and dancer. She came to the photo shoot and was all into the shoes."

"I still get like that, 'Whew.' When you fall in love, it's as though time stops," she said. "It's all-encompassing.

"I try every day to let him know how much I love him," she added. "It gets better and better. It has made my life."

On December 2, the couple took Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4, shopping for Christmas décor in L.A. "Ava seemed very comfortable with Abbie," says a witness. "Ava picked a wreath and Abbie put it around her head as a joke. They were both laughing."
