Caleb is the couple's second son

American Idol season 4 runner-up Bo Bice and his wife Caroline Fisher welcomed a baby boy, Caleb, on Tuesday, his rep tells Usmagazine.com exclusively.

Bice, 32, and Fisher wed in July 2005 in Helena, Alabama. Their son Aidan was born in September 2005.

"[Caleb] is a good biblical name," Bice said at the American Idol finale show in May. "We stuck with that with both kids – good Irish and good biblical names... We're just blessed to have such a beautiful family."

The rocker, who lives in Nashville, released the album See the Light in October 2007.

"I'm so excited," the Idol runner-up says about releasing "Crush"

American Idol runner-up David Archuleta debuted his first single, "Crush," on Friday.

The ballad's verses include: "I'm trying, trying to walk away/ but I know this crush is going nowhere."

The 17-year-old admitted that he was “nervous” about debuting his new tune.

"It's like, 'this is the day that my song is gonna be on the radio!'" Archuleta told NYC radio station Z100. "It's just crazy. What are people going to think? I hope they like it! I'm so excited!"

Archuleta, who's currently on the American Idol tour, signed a record deal with 19 Recordings/Jive Records in June. His first album is due out by the end of this year.

"I'm in pain!" the American Idol host says after his weekend mishap

So much for a relaxing trip to the beach.

On his KIIS-FM radio show Monday, Ryan Seacrest said he decided to take a dip in the ocean over the weekend when, he said, "I was bit by a shark!"

He said he was "about eight feet out" when he felt something swim by him.

"I thought it was a stick," he said. "I wasn't sure what had happened."

Then, he said, "I saw it swim! He took a bite, and he left."

Seacrest, 33, said the shark's tooth "wasn't a great thing to find. It was like finding a splinter!"

Although he said he was "in pain," the American Idol co-host wasn't hurt too badly, as he still went on the air to blab about it. ("I need to take an Advil!" he yelped.)

But he's bitter.

Asked by his radio co-host if anyone else got bit, Seacrest lamented: "No, just me, of course! There were like 1,000 people in the ocean, and I get bit by the shark!"

Just 18 months after her own reality show win, Jordin Sparks took to the stage of another competition show - So You Think You Can Dance - but this time, she came as a fan!

“[Katee and Joshua] did a routine to my song, “No Air,” and it was crazy to see how they moved to it. It was beautiful and I totally saw the story. I got chills,” Sparks tells Us of the pair’s June 11 performance. “I played it 100 times!”

What’s it like for Sparks – who performed “No Air” on SYTYCD’s June 29 results show - to see American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe take a seat at the SYTYCD judging table? “So crazy!” she says. “We [got] to see him behind the scenes on Idol, but here he talks about so much more. With Nigel being the producer of Idol, he’d [tell us] 'How about you try walking here? Do a note here. A jig here.' He knows what he’s talking about [on both shows] and knows what looks good on TV.”

As for Lythgoe’s co-judge, Mary Murphy, Sparks says there’s no contest if Murphy challenged her to a scream-off. “I couldn’t scream if my life depended on it,” Sparks says with a chuckle. “Nothing comes out when I try.”

The 19-year-old will welcome a baby girl in October, she reveals

19-year-old American Idol alum Paris Bennett is engaged —and pregnant.

The season five finalist — who made it to the top five in 2006 and earned the nickname "Princess P" from fans — announced the news on her MySpace page.

"Yes, I'm engaged and with child; a girl and her name will be Egypt," Bennett wrote. "She will be here in October just before the holiday album."

Bennett's mother, Jamecia, also confirmed the news to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

"She has a ring," said Jamecia, who said the father "chooses not to be in the public eye.

"I'm proud of how she did it," Jamecia added. "I was 16 when I got pregnant."

He tells Us his Idol pal has "such a great heart"

Clay Aiken is sending well-wishes to American Idol competitor Ruben Studdard, who got married Saturday.

"Ruben is one of the most wonderful guys I have ever known," Aiken, 29, tells Usmagazine.com. "He has such a great heart.

"Zuri is one lucky lady," Aiken adds. "I'm thrilled for both of them as they start this great chapter in their lives."

Studdard, 29, tied the knot with Surata Zuri McCants, 30, in front of 300 guests at the Canterbury United Methodist Church in his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, Saturday.

The Idol season two winner — dubbed the Velvet Teddy Bear by fans — met McCants, a flight attendant, at a CD signing at a Wal-Mart in Atlanta, Georgia in October 2006.

"I was signing copies of my CD and she came in to get one signed for her friend who couldn't get off from work," he told the Birmingham News. "We started talking, and she was telling me about her friend. But I just looked at her and thought, 'She is so beautiful.'"

Studdard tracked McCants down in the toy department and asked for her phone number.

"We developed a friendship, and about two months later we started dating," Studdard told the paper.

Last season's finalists tell Us what they love about the summer show

While it remains to be seen if season 7’s American Idol finalists can dance, one thing is for certain: they love to watch others try on So You Think You Can Dance. Usmagazine.com caught up with fan favorites Ramiele Malubay, Kristy Lee Cook, Michael Johns and the American Idol himself, David Cook, to get their take on front runners, Nigel Lythgoe’s dance moves and more!

Usmagazine.com: What is your favorite part of the series?
David Cook: [I watch] more to see Nigel’s reactions more than anything else. I’m glad he’s not judging us!
Ramiele Malubay: We would have been totally screwed!

Us: How would Idol have been different if Nigel and Simon Cowell were on the same judging panel?
DC: There would have been some fatalities [if Nigel judged us on Idol]. I think they're both very strongly opinionated but they're blunt and honest.
Michael Johns: Those two egos can't coincide on the same panel! There would have been nipple cripples and ear pulling. I can imagine Nigel would be twisting Simon's nipples and Simon would have Nigel's ears shouting, 'what you doing?'

Us: Do you have any current favorite dancers?
Kristy Lee Cook: I love Twitch and Kherington.
DC: I think my favorite dancer so far this season is Nigel!
RM: Nigel [visited] when we were having finale rehearsals and he’d come from auditions for SYTYCD. He would just start busting some really weird moves.
MJ: Once you've got the dancing abilities of someone like moi, what have you got left to learn? I don't want people who think they can dance, either you think or you know!

"He's been so great," the Idol runner-up gushes about his notoriously difficult pop

American Idol runner-up David Archuleta continues to have only praise for his dad who has been portrayed by some media outlets as a demanding stage dad.

"For Father's Day my dad, a friend of ours and I went to Soup Plantation for lunch haha. I actually really liked the food there," Archuleta wrote on his MySpace page. "We also had enough time in the day to go to church before the schedule started and lunch so that was neat to be able to do,"

Archuleta continued, "Thanks everyone for wishing my dad a happy Father's Day. I really appreciate that and I know he does as well. He's been great so I'm glad you guys took time to send him your messages. Hope everyone else's dads had a great time too!

Archuleta's father - Jeff - who told Usmagazine.com that he's "no stage dad," enraged show producers when he reportedly insisted his son son switch up the lyrics of "Stand by Me" to include a verse from Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls," despite warnings not to do so.

As a result, Jeff was reportedly banned from show rehearsals as well as from backstage according to reports in the Associated Press and TMZ.

Archuleta recently landed a record deal with 19/Recordings/Jive Records.

The 17-year-old — who will perform on the upcoming Idol tour (kicking off July 1) — will release a debut album later this year.

Idol's David Cook and Kimberly Caldwell Hide Out at Dodgers Game

A source says the two were "nervous" about making a public outing

New American Idol couple David Cook and Kimberly Caldwell put in a low-key appearance at Tuesday's Dodgers game, where she performed the National Anthem.

They sat in the private Baseline Box seats (near the new Baseline Box Club) and enjoyed Wolfgang Puck-catered food.

"Kimberly was definitely nervous about the public appearance!" a source tells Usmagazine.com. "They were really cute and sweet together, laughing and having a lot fun."

Adds the source, "The players on the field totally checked her out when she was walking to sing!"

The couple managed to escape being shown on the famous Dodger Vision video board.

A source tells Us that Caldwell said she was concerned about her privacy, adding that her boyfriend didn't want any more attention as he just won American Idol.

"She's great," Cook recently told Extra of Caldwell. "So far, I've had a really good time with her."
