Reports say was taken off the list after insulting Vogue editor Anna Wintour

Rachel Zoe is none too thrilled she wasn't put on the list to attend Monday's star-studded Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.

Fashionweekydaily.com reported that Nicole Richie's ex-stylist was taken off the list by host Anna Wintour after Zoe said she was more "influential" than the Vogue editor. (A Vogue rep says, "Vogue did not disinvite her.")

Usmagazine.com caught up with Zoe Wednesday at Allure’s "most alluring bodies" photo exhibit in NYC.

When asked about the 'dis, Zoe snapped, "I don’t really want to talk about that. I’m here to talk about the event."

So Us asked her about the event: How does [Allure editor] Linda Wells' style differ from Wintour's?

"Everybody’s different," Zoe icily replied before walking off.

The troubled rocker opens up to Us about staying sober and his new model girlfriend

So maybe they haven’t reached Demi and Bruce status just yet, but after an arduous period of on-and-off-again romance and nasty public spats, Brit rocker Pete Doherty says he and ex Kate Moss are becoming buds again.

“She’s a friend, but people are going to say what they want about it,” the rocker, 28, told Usmagazine.com at the MTV European Music Awards in Munich November 1. “She’s happy now, and so am I.”

Doherty — who has been in and out of treatment centers and court several times — said he is also off drugs.

“It’s nice to be able to remember a gig!” he told Us of performing post-rehab.

“I feel fantastic! Everything’s really cool right now,” he added. “I’m enjoying life. People are gonna try and bring you back down, but I’m strong now.”

Helping him along the way? His girlfriend, Canadian model Irina Lazareanu, 25.

“I’m just really f----in’ happy,” Doherty said. “I’ve had many chances. Now life’s good.”

He is also finding support through a new unlikely pal: Snoop Dogg.

Usmagazine.com spotted the pair chatting during the MTV awards weekend. “They were talking about music, and Snoop was saying he wanted to add an indie feel to a few tracks," an onlooker said. "Pete was saying he should get in touch with his manager to see if they can sort something out."

Angelina Jolie, 31, whose charity work over the last few years has lent her a saintly reputation, has suffered a spate of bad press lately.

First she questioned Madonna’s adoption procedures and called her biological daughter Shiloh a “blob” in the U.K. Elle. Then came reports she pushed her way through a crowd of fans at the premiere of God Grew Tired of Us.

Now a source tells Us that, at the cover shoot for the January issue of Vogue (shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz), Jolie “was a nightmare. It became all about Angelina fussing over her hair and makeup. Annie and Angelina did not get along because of it.”

Why did Jolie once leave boyfriend Brad Pitt at home with the kids and check into a hotel? Which ex-lover of Jolie’s is now claiming they romanced Madonna at the same time? How is the couple settling into their new life in New Orleans?

You know, we were always sort of ambivalent when it came to Nicole Kidman. On the one hand, she’s exquisite and talented and appears not to be in possession of sweat glands. But she’s also a bit stiff and seems like she has to be plugged into an outlet and recharged every night. And, seriously, what happened to her red hair?

But then she handled the divorce with such grace. And when Tom Cruise freaked out this year, she had the class to stay mum on the whole thing, not even to offer a smug, “I tol’ you that b-tch crazy.” And how can you not sympathize with someone whose husband starts having threesomes with Jack Daniels a mere four months into the marriage?

So she won us over, but we still didn’t know that much about her. Happily, she goes Vogue-ing this December and submits to a fairly personal interview. No talk about Cruise’s new, possibly sedated bride, or hubby Keith Urban, who’s currently getting wrung out by the Betty Ford Center. But it’s revealing, nonetheless. Interview excerpts below…

On marrying young:
“You get the advice ‘Don’t get married when you’re 22,’ and you just think, They don’t know what they’re talking about! But now I look back and think, Oh, there’s probably some truth to that.”

On marriage:
“Not giving up who you are, I think that’s the big lesson.”

On her marriage to Tom Cruise:
“Honestly, I would have stayed married for the rest of my life. It’s not like I regret who I was in that marriage; I don’t at all. It was eleven years of my life. It wasn’t 50 years; it turned out to be 11.”

On meeting Urban:
“I was very wary, and damaged…It wasn’t that I’d give up hope, I was just…asleep. But now I feel like I’ve woken up again. Rather than living through characters, I’ve learned to be myself.”

On life with her husband:
“We spend an enormous amount of time together, and we’re determined to do that. I’ve spent too much time away from my family, and I just have no desire to live like that.”

On settling in Nashville, TN:
“This is my home now. This is the most time I’ve spent anywhere in years. I wanted to be earthed, and I didn’t feel earthed for so long, maybe not since I was a child…I don’t feel like I’m floating around, which is how it had been for many years, probably because I wasn’t that happy.”

On having more children:
“I’d like to be a mother again. I always thought I’d eventually live on a Fijian island. I love the idea of being in a sarong, with hair down to my bum and kids following my around and hanging out.”
