Alex Rodriguez kept his brain on baseball — not split rumors — as he hit his 535th homeroom of his career during the New York Yankees' face-off against the Texas Rangers. (The Yankees won 18-7.)

According to the New York Post, Rodriguez, 32, used the same motion umpires use to call base runners safe and zipped his lips when asked about rumors that his marriage was over.

On Wednesday, perezhilton.com and the Post reported that Rodriguez's wife Cynthia, 32, had left him for Lenny Kravitz.

The Post reports that she is in Paris with the rocker, 44, and was spotted outside his home as recently as Tuesday — the same day Us Weekly revealed that Madonna has been hosting late-night visits from Rodriguez at her NYC apartment.

(Interestingly, Madonna has been romantically linked to Kravitz. He also appeared in her 1990 "Justify My Love" video. See photos of all of Madonna's past flings. )

New York's Daily News is also reporting that Rodriguez and Cynthia have split after having "problems" for about three months.

Cynthia's mother, Evangeline Scurtis, denied that her daughter was in Paris with Kravitz — "she is not! I know that," she said — but repeatedly declined to comment about her daughter's marriage to Rodriguez.

The couple (who wed in November 2002) has two children, Natasha Alexander and Ella Alexander, who was born April 21.

Yankees co-chairman Hank Steinbrenner said all the drama had initially affected his team's performance Wednesday.

According to the News, he criticized the team's lack of hitting, suggesting that "a little less outside distractions and a little more concentrating" might help them at the plate.

Report: Madonna Meets With Divorce Lawyer

Madonna has met with high-powered British divorce attorney Fiona Shackleton, The Times of London reports.

(Shackleton represented Paul McCartney in his split from Heather Mills. He ended up paying Mills only $48.6 million of the $160 million sought by Mills.)

One lawyer told The Times that Madonna, 49, had met with Shackleton after approaching another firm. (Guy Ritchie, 39, had been rumored "to have had dealings with a lesser-known Mayfair law firm, Forsters," according to The Times.)

When contacted by Usmagazine.com, her rep said: "No comment at this time, darling."

It is believed that the couple (who wed in 2000) did not have a prenup, according to The Times. (Madonna is worth an estimated $600 million.)

Breakup rumors have rocked the couple for years.

In the May issue of U.K. Elle, Madonna denied martial strife.

"I had to marry a challenge because otherwise I would just get bored," she said. "Whatever else Guy is, he's never boring ... We're both there to help each other and challenge each other."

She added that she dedicated the love song "Incredible" (on her latest disc Hard Candy) to him.

"Sex with Guy is incredible," she confessed. "And surprise, surprise, it's his favorite song on the album. Actually, maybe it's not his favorite song, but it's definitely his favorite line."

They have two children together: Rocco Ritchie, 7, and David Banda, 21 months, whom they adopted in Malawi in 2006. The adoption was finalized last month. (See photos of stars who have adopted.)

Madonna has a daughter, Lourdes, 11, from a previous relationship with fitness instructor Carlos Leon.

Days after their split, Raffaello Follieri was charged with wire fraud and money laundering charges

Anne Hathaway's ex-boyfriend, Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri, could face life in prison stemming from being arrested on charges of wire fraud and money laundering.

According to the United States Attorney's Office, Follieri, 29, misappropriated "hundreds of thousands of dollars in investor money to live a luxurious lifestyle, including expensive restaurants and clothes; dog walking services; an opulent apartment in Manhattan that leased for approximately $37,000 per month; medical expenses for his girlfriend at the time and his parents, including a 'house call' by Follieri's physician, which cost $30,000."

Prosecutors also charge he claimed the Vatican formally appointed him to manage its financial affairs, and that he met with the Pope in person while in Italy — but "in reality, [his] connections consisted of an adminstrative employee at the Vatican who was paid by Follieri."

He's been charged with six counts of wire fraud, five counts of money laundering and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. The wire fraud charges alone could result in 120 years in prison and a $1.5 million charge.

The Daily Mail of London recently reported that Hathaway, 25, broke it off with Follieri because she feared that his recent legal woes could hurt her career.

An additional source confirmed the split to Usmagazine.com: "Yes, they're taking a break. All the shady stuff was too much."

Follieri is also under investigation by the New York State Attorney General's office for failing to file tax-disclosure forms for his charity, the Follieri Foundation.

He was arrested in April for allegedly writing a $215,000 bad check.

During an appearance on The View that aired last Thursday, Hathaway admitted she wasn't feeling her "girlish, bubbly" self.

She told Joy Behar, "I'm kind of somber today."

The Idol judge "is doing fine" after breaking up with J.T. Torregiani

Paula Abdul has split from boyfriend, restaurateur J.T. Torregiani, her rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.

The pair parted ways more than two months ago. Torregiani, 33 — a partner in the Dolce Group — has moved out of the American Idol judge's Los Angeles home.

“She’s doing fine," a source close to Abdul, 46, tells Us. "She has moved on with her life.”

Abdul and Torregiani began dating in April 2007 when he introduced himself to her after an Idol taping.

In June 2007, he threw her a 45th birthday party at Ketchup, the West Hollywood eatery he co-owns.

"He's a sweetie pie," she told USA Today last October. "He's a positive force that has come into my life right now. Where it leads, who knows?"

Abdul told the paper that a baby was "the next step in my life.

"Definitely within the next two years," she said. "I thought by now I'd have three grown children."

In an interview on The View, she admits she isn't feeling "girlish, bubbly"

Anne Hathaway says she isn't feeling her usual upbeat self.

"My personality is very kind of, you know, girlish, bubbly," she said on a pre-taped episode of The View that aired Thursday. "Not today...I'm kind of somber today."

"Mood swings?" asked Joy Behar.

Replied Hathaway, 25: "Let's not go there."

On Wednesday, a source told Usmagazine.com that she had dumped her longtime beau, Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri.

"Yes, they're taking a break," an insider told Us. "All the shady stuff was too much."

The Daily Mail of London had reported that Hathaway (who walked Monday's Get Smart premiere solo) feared that his recent legal woes could hurt her career.

DWTS' Karina Smirnoff isn't shedding a tear after splitting with Mario Lopez.

"I'm just concentrating on my career and getting my mind in the right place," she told Usmagazine.com at the L.A. premiere of Get Smart on Monday.

Still, she added, "At the end of the day, I really want to find that certain person to spend the rest my life with. And I am totally open for that — so any single, good guys, send in your resume!"

Smirnoff, 30, and Lopez, 34, called it quits earlier this month, shortly after a beach vacation in Miami. (See photos of them in swimsuits.)

"We had a two-year relationship, and I have nothing but good memories," Smirnoff, who donned a Roberto Cavalli dress, told Us. "We are better off as friends."

Of the split, she said, "There is no easy way to break up, and it is especially that much harder when you are in the public eye. I am ready to turn the page and start fresh and really concentrate on my life and career."

Smirnoff, 30, and Lopez, 34, called it quits

Anne Hathaway has ditched her boyfriend of four years, Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri, according to Tuesday's Daily Mail of London

The Get Smart star, 25, feared that his recent legal woes could hurt her career, a source tells the paper. (Follieri, 29, is under investigation by the New York State Attorney General's office for failing to file tax-disclosure forms for his charity, the Follieri Foundation. He was also arrested in April for allegedly writing a $215,000 bad check.)

"It's heartbreaking for her to dump him, and she's devastated that it's come to this, but she really didn't have a choice," a source told the paper of the actress, who walked Monday's Get Smart premiere solo. "His scandals were hurting her reputation."

A source also confirmed the split to Us: "Yes, they're taking a break. All the shady stuff was too much."

Her rep had no comment when contacted by Us.

Sophia Bush is back on the market.

The One Tree Hill star, 25, told Usmagazine.com Monday that she and actor Jon Foster "broke up, like, a year ago.

"I am single," she said at the Switch Boutique Summer BBQ in L.A. "We are really good friends. We keep in touch, and we love each other to death."

The actress — who was once wed to Chad Michael Murray — said, "You can love somebody, and not be in love with them, and I think that was a really valuable lesson. We weren’t ready to get married, but it definitely doesn’t mean we don’t care about each other.”

These days, she told Us "the only two men I have time for are Barack Obama and my trainer. So those are my relationships."

What's so appealing about Obama?

"I love that he is the first politician who doesn’t feel like a politician," she said. "Senator Obama is the one person who's saying, 'We can change everything — but it can’t just be me, and it can’t just be you.'"

"We're both concentrating on our careers right now," she says

Mario Lopez and his Dancing With the Stars girlfriend Karina Smirnoff have called it quits, she tells the New York Post.

"He's a great guy. I think the world of him, but I think we're both concentrating on our careers right now," she said.

The two recently returned from a beach vacation Miami.

Smirnoff met the actor on the third season of the hit ABC show when he was a contestant.

In March, Smirnoff told Us "there is nothing" to rumors she's hooking up with her former DWTS partner, R&B singer Mario.

"We have a completely professional relationship," she told Us. "I have a lot of respect for Mario. He is a great person."

Lopez added that the rumor was "funny."

In April, after another round of split rumors surfaced, she told Us: "You know, everybody goes through ups and downs in their relationships. That’s kind of a given, and it’s normal. But Mario and I are going strong."

Comedian Bill Murray's wife of more than 10 years, Jennifer, has filed for divorce.

In documents filed May 12 in a Charleston, S.C. family court, she accuses him of "adultery, addiction to marijuana and alcohol, abusive behavior, physical abuse, sexual addictions and frequent abandonment," the Charleston Post & Courier reports.

According to the six-page filing, she claims the funnyman abused her on more than one occasion during their marriage.

One time, the document claims, he "hit his wife in the face and then told her she was 'lucky he didn't kill her.'"

She is also seeking a restraining order banning him from her $3.65 million home and is asking the court to determine if their premarital agreement is valid and enforceable. (If the marriage is dissolved and the premarital agreement is made a part of the order, the Courier reports, he would have to pay her $7 million.)

They have four children.

His attorney tells Entertainment Tonight: "Bill Murray is deeply saddened by the breakup of his marriage. He and his wife are loving parents and they are committed to the best interests of their children and Mr. Murray has asked that the public respect his privacy at this difficult time."
