"We are just friends," Ballas tells Us

Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Mark Ballas and Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan have split, Ballas told Usmagazine.com.

"We are just friends now," he told Us Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Ballas backed away from his comment, posting on his MySpace blog: “We are both really busy, and see each other when we can, are still close as ever and nothing has changed!!!”

The pair met in November 2007 when they were partnered together on season five of DWTS.

"We've gotten so close, and I guess the friendship started from the moment we met," Bryan said in 2007. "Now that the show is over, we definitely couldn't stand the thought of not being in each other's lives at this point."

She added: "You see all this love and chemistry we have? It's really so vibrant, and that's really how our friendship and relationship is."

Dancing with the Stars castoff Sabrina Bryan knows exactly what she wants for Christmas from boyfriend and former dancing partner Mark Ballas: a mini Yorkshire puppy!

If Ballas, 21, can't find one in time, Bryan, 23, tells Us that she'd also like a Wii — to play the DWTS game — or a Segway.

Currently on the DWTS tour, Bryan will be home for Christmas to lend some extra TLC to Ballas, who is recovering from surgery on his shoulder following a dislocation.

"I brought him a little gift basket the night of his surgery of movies [and] his favorite candy... because it’s hard to just have to sit there and not really be able to do much," she tells Us. "He’s somebody who’s active so much, so to actually just take a moment and just relax is a lot for him."

"The doctors said the surgery went beautifully and he should be recovering just perfectly," she adds.

Mark Ballas dislocated his shoulder while performing the Cha-Cha with his partner (and real life love), Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan, during Tuesday's Dancing With the Stars finale.

Ballas, 21 — who had been complaining of back and shoulder pains — had injured himself during rehearsals. But during the routine, the pain worsened, Bryan, 23, told Usmagazine.com.

"He was saying, 'Don’t go! Don’t go!'" she told Us. "Honestly, I think he was starting to panic so much that it was hurting that he just started spitting words out.

"I was like, 'What are you talking about?'" Bryan continued. "You’re in the zone when you’re dancing and then all of the sudden he pulled me back to reality. I’m just freaking out right now. I’ve never seen him react like that."

Bryan — who announced her plans to join Ballas on the DWTS tour, which Usmagazine.com reported exclusively — said she planned on visiting him in the hospital after the finale.

"I’m not really sure what happened," she said. "He was hurting bad enough to want to go. He’s a dancer so he has to take care of his body."

She will hit the stage for a special encore performance; also, details on Cameron Mathison's elimination Tuesday

Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan is returning to Dancing With the Stars for a special encore performance, a rep tells Usmagazine.com.

She will appear along with her partner (and real life love) Mark Ballas on the November 27 episode.

"It's a special performance to preview the Dancing With the Stars tour," a rep tells Usmagazine.com, adding that Bryan, 23, and Ballas, 21, will hit the road in December.

On Tuesday night's show, All My Children's Cameron Mathison and his partner Edyta Sliwinska were eliminated.

"My intention is to keep dancing," Mathison, 38, told Usmagazine.com backstage after the show in L.A. "But instead of doing eight-hour rehearsals, I'll just do a one-hour dance lesson."

Here is who remains for next week's semi-finals:

• Jennie Garth
• Marie Osmond
• Indy 500 champion Helio Castroneves

The couple share a date in Hollywood Monday; the Cheetah Girl tells Us their relationship is “vibrant”

Sure, she got the shocking boot off last week’s Dancing With the Stars, but Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan is holding up rather well — thanks to her new man, her former dancing partner, Mark Ballas.

Performing with his band Almost Amy, Ballas, 21, dedicated a song to “my beautiful Sabrina” at Hollywood hot spot Sugar Monday night.

It wasn’t tough to spot sparks, Bryan, 23, told in a phone interview Friday.

“We’ve gotten so close, and I guess the friendship started from the moment we met,” she said. “Now that the show is over, we definitely couldn’t stand the thought of not being in each other’s lives at this point.”

She added: “You see all this love and chemistry we have? It’s really so vibrant, and that’s really how our friendship and relationship is.”

And though she’s now off the hit ABC show, she’s hardly forgotten.

Cast members showed their support for Sab by wearing Cheetah paw temporary tattoos (a tradition that was Bryan’s trademark) on Monday night’s broadcast.

“[Bryan was] clearly the best dancer in the competition Everyone felt that she sort of got gypped [when she was ousted],” contestant Cameron Mathison, of soap All My Children told Usmagazine.com backstage. “We just wanted to show her a little bit of love.”

Added contestant, racer Helio Castroneves: “I text messaged [Bryan] and said, ‘We missed you this morning.’ She texted back, ‘Good luck!’”

What's the worst part of being booted off Tuesday night's Dancing With The Stars for Sabrina Bryan of The Cheetah Girls?

Not being able to wear the campy costumes anymore!

"I wish I could have another costume!" she told Usmagazine.com backstage at Tuesday night's show in L.A. shortly after she and partner Mark Ballas were surprisingly eliminated, prompting a shocked audience to boo in anger. "The costume designer had this amazing Roberto Cavalli material for me for the Mambo!"

But Bryan, 23, said she is not going home empty-handed.

"I am going to steal it!" she said of the frock. "I don’t care what he says!"

Overall, she described the Dancing With The Stars experience as "awesome ... and the memories I have will be with me in my heart forever."

She added, "And I’m going to go make more memories with everyone tonight because I’m going out! This Cheetah is on the prowl!"
